I stop by this Ulta quite often and it's not always a good experience. But today was different. Even though they were out of what I came for the sales associate went above and beyond. I wish I had gotten her name but next time I will and give her a proper shout out. This location is convenient for me because it's near Trader Joe's and everyone knows I'm there all of the time. Anyhow, sometimes you can't find anyone to help you and it's been very unorganized and not a pleasant experience. But today there was a lady there that I hadn't seen before and she was Great!!! I hope she's there to stay or at least employ and train good people. Keep it up Ulta!

This Ulta location is always empty, like no customers at all. So I'm always surprised they are even in business. I went in last week to smell some colognes for gift ideas for my husband, my father and my brother and then also try to see if I can find anything new for my mom and myself and was shocked to find that ALL of their perfumes were behind locked cases. Even their testers were all behind closed cases. What is the point of even having perfumes there in that case? I, along with any other normal person, would not make an employee stand there and open EVERY single case so I can smell everything. That is going to be a waste of my time and a waste of the employees time. As someone who has worked years in retail, this is one of the dumbest things I have seen, and in GERMANTOWN out of all places. Like come on. At least have those scent papers with already sprayed samples near the locked samples so people can EASILY smell things without having to feel like burdens to the staff, who are, by the way, very off putting. I walked in and not a single other customer was in the store and I had numerous employees look at me and then lower their heads.... Maybe that's why the store is always empty.

Great shop. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. And they do a great job.Get your hair done here. They are open many more hrs than your neighborhood shop. They are open holidays. You can take your hair color formula everywhere in the country where there is an Ulta.This shop did a considerably better job than most. And I've been to Ultas in multiple states around the country.Will return.

I loved every minute of my experience at Ulta! The staff we all super friendly. I order my products online and chose the pick up option since I would be in the area. Silly me...ended up at the wrong store, but when I tell you the staff went out of their way to assist me. While I waited on things to be processed, the young lady showed me around to several products that I wanted information on and more! The store is well organized and clean. I love how things are set up. You will be excited as soon as you walk through the door. Loved my experience. This may be my official Ulta store! ha!

They had a holiday sign posted with ours opening at 9 AM starting Dec 3. I waited outside for 15 minutes while the workers were inside, only to have one of them come out 10 minutes after 9 AM to tell me the sign is incorrect and they are not open Until 10 AM. First of all false advertising. Second of all what kind of customer service is that when you have five associates inside a store and somebody who wants to purchase something and they can't allow you to come in to make your purchase. I will never shop at Ulta again.

Horrible service at the hair salon at this location! I had an appointment for a hairdo & they called me on the day of, to let me know they are running behind & they had to push back my appointment 1&1/2 hr. When I get there at the time they requested me to arrive, the hairdresser is not even acknowledging my presence. When I asked him when he can start on my hair, he reluctantly told me " maybe in 20-30 minutes"! After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked him again & again with a lot of huff & puff he told me " I don't know"!!!I requested to speak with the manager at this time. The manager came & apologized( finally someone had the decency to say sorry at last!) Then the manager tried to ask the other hairdressers to do my hair but they all said they were too busy. Eventually the manager told me" you look pretty & at least you have your make up done. You can easily do your hair yourself." So I left after waiting at this time for a total of 1&1/2 hr extra( NOT including the original 1&1/2 hr of pushing back my appointment. Including that time, it was 3 hours later.)While I was leaving, I decided I would not go back to this location! Needless to say, we ( my husband & I) were late to the function we were going to at this time.

I would like to thank two ladies at Germantown Ulta, Nicki and Taylor for making my experience at Ulta Beauty wonderful! I had an exchange and Taylor took care of me with the brightest smile. Personally, I do not like returning or exchanging so this experience was refreshing. The customer service I received made me want to buy more items. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I scheduled event makeup for my baby shower (which is actually my surprise wedding) about a month ago. I confirmed the appointment a week ago and then got a call at 8pm tonight from someone saying my appointment needed to be rescheduled for a different day. I said I could not reschedule as this was event makeup... for my event. They put me in hold for forever and then told me to call another Ulta in the morning and see if they would take me last minute.... So it's Less than 24 hours before my wedding... they cancel on me... and do nothing to help resolve the issue. They don't call in backup staff to do my makeup. They don't try to call the other location and schedule something for me. They drop the ball on the most important day of my life and tell me that I need to figure it out tomorrow. I ask why they aren't calling to help me. I state I've paid for a photographer and have all these people coming and you're just calling to tell me you dropped the ball. They then said, no I'm calling to tell you we have to reschedule and then they hung up on me.... Which why wouldn't they right? Might as well continue their professionalism by hanging up on their customers.

I went to this Ulta like I always do to restock on some products. While I'm there, I hear two workers talking loud (intentionally) and talking about me "stealing" and talking about where I had been in the store. I find this extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. It made me uncomfortable and feel very unwelcomed. I suggest that Ulta look into who they hire because having employees like that is horrible for business. These employees were both older ladies and I hope they get fired because it is extremely rude to make anyone feel that way. I would not steal from Ulta and the accusation is so rude. Safe to say I will not be coming back to this Ulta!
