Tug's Casual Dining

I love this place. The last time I was here it was in 2010. It is right across from the Mississippi River and it is quite lovely to have dinner, a drink and watch the sunset however, I am here for lunch and a beverage.The customer service is great, we all got 2 apps a side and a meal. The entree was the salmon which was great, a side of sweet potato friends, southwestern egg rolls and chicken wings. They were all great and I highly recommend.All I have to say that if I remember a place from over 10yrs ago, it's worth coming! Our waitress was great!

Good atmosphere and generally friendly staff. 4 stars only because each time I go there's just something off about the food. I've had the eggs Benedict, which, although good, had hold Hollandaise, mimosas were just OJ, etc. if they corrected the food issues, the place would be great!

Been here several times and always enjoy. For mud island the prices feel pretty reasonable and food is always tasty. Decent veg/pescatarian options too. Service has always been good whether it be dining room, bar or outdoors. Outdoors is really nice too, on not too hots days you can look at the river. I don't live on the island anymore but I would go back.

Hubby's friend picked this place and said it had great burgers. I wasn't really feeling burgers though so I picked something else, but I did get a bite of my husband's and it was pretty good. I have to say it was HUGE. I almost couldn't fit it in my mouth so if I did get a burger here I'd have to squish it a little first hahaha. We also got some loaded fries for the table and they were really good- we ate them all up. I got the Blackened Chicken Pasta and it was delicious. I loved that it wasn't overseasoned. It was just right and I loved it. I have never heard of this place before but I loved everything I tried and wouldn't mind coming back! My friend picked this place. He said the burgers were good so I had to try one. The burger was good. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. Everything else here was just ok but my wife seemed like she liked it. To me the loaded fries weren't loaded enough. The pasta my wife got was decent but it was just ok too. I don't think I would come back unless the same friend invited me.

Food is always good. We love the catfish but tried the burger this time and it was very good. Service is always great and we love the vibe in harbor town.

Got the Cajun omelette. Seasoned well, I added bacon to mine It came with shrimp crawfish peppers an onions. With a side of potatoes and a cup of gumbo Gumbo a bit spicy but still good. First time here an the mimosas was ok wasn't a fan of the tropical flavor. Very very sweet Pineapple was decent decent

Tugs in my opinion is a neighborhood restaurant that everyone on mud island and beyond enjoys!! We went to celebrate a colleagues birthday and had a great time. We ordered drinks and a few appetizers. I love the lettuce wraps and spinach & artichoke dip and that's exactly what we ordered. I'm on a diet, so I requested the celery and carrots to dip!! Armani was our server and she was super professional, fun, and engaging!! We enjoyed her presence and her service.I recommend Tugs for a casual and fun evening with family and friends.

Service was excellent, but the food was subpar, bland pasta, full of butter. The waitress was very attentive.
