The vibe was not what I expected. Plenty of top shelf liquor available which was a huge plus. I wanted to try the cornbread and magically it appeared. We had shrimp cocktail to start, brisket tacos and we were accidentally given chocolate cheesecake (not sure). All dishes were pretty good.

Great spot to stop and grab food while traveling through. Stop in here because we didn't want fast food. Ordered at the counter and food came out pretty quick. The selection was good. Had the brisket platter. The pickles were amazing. Brisket was tender. Their spicy bbq sauce was great. Super easy to eat while I was on the road. If you are looking for great food and don't want to stop driving long, this is a great spot to stop in and grab some good bbq.

We were driving from Hopkinsville to Murray and were ready for lunch when we spotted Triplets along the side of the road. I saw BBQ and had to take a quick online check of their menu since I don't eat meat. I saw Gouda Mac & cheese and we headed right in! We got there literally minutes before the lunch crowd hit. We were greeted, seated and order taken promptly. The place is really cute inside and spacious. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly. I ordered a veg plate with the Mac and cheese, broccoli salad and corn nuggets. It was all positively delicious! My husband had the taco trio AND the brisket sandwich with Mac & cheese. We left very happy with full bellies. We definitely recommend it, and would return any time we are in the area.

In 2018 my son and I were in Hopkinsville and stopped at Triplets BBQ for lunch. Eating bbq in a silo was a fun experience, so my wife and I found ourselves in Hopkinsville tonight and decided to take her so she could check it out.We called and someone answered and hung up before I could say a word and when we got to the restaurant it appears they have integrated Triplets with another restaurant and turned the silo into the bar. Needless to say I'm very disappointed. I wish someone would have answered the phone and saved me an extra hour drive. We went across the street to Cracker Barrel.

I was impressed.I don't know anything about the area or even how the locals pronounce Cadiz here (message me, let me know!), but while passing through on a very long road trip, this was a massive upgrade amidst an ocean of sad highway fast food places. As a transient visitor, this place was way better than what I was expecting, especially so close to the highway. An annex to what seems like another great restaurant, this place has a well-considered casual atmosphere with lots of thoughtful details in the construction of the space (even the way the designer differentiated the seating areas was clever). It's got the feel of a movie set in a roadhouse. Service was good, the team was helpful and kind. The menu is also well-considered. I'm surprised and impressed they restricted themselves to pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. Their sides are fairly clever and interesting, doing a nice job of balancing familiar and fresh. The meats are cooked quite well. Two different sauces - one mustard based, the other sweet and smoky. Personally, I'd prefer a little less sweet and a little more smoke, but that's just my preference after years of KC barbecue. They're both respectable enough that everyone in your group no matter where they're from should be able to find something to like about one of the sauces. Would be great to have another vegetable option or two for balancing out all the rest of the decadence, but it's barbecue and we're lucky to have one option that isn't a potato. But speaking of, love the fries. Congrats to the folks who made this place possible. It's good in general, but downright impressive for what it is and where it is.

Only in Kentucky ....van you find a BBQ joint made out of a grain mill. U love the ingenuity. As I was exploring Hopkinsville, I Yelped BBQ joints and chose Triplett's over in Cadiz. It stayed open later than the one I looked at in Hopkinsville and was rated higher than the other one.I went with the Pitmasters, which is a sampling of all 3 of their meats and 3 sides. The three meats are pork, brisket, and chicken. What's weird is that this is a BBQ joint that doesn't serve ribs. Very odd and quirky indeed! Guess what else was odd and quirky...the meat! The brisket was a mix of good and bad with really good or too tough. The pulled pork was consistent. And the chicken was just blah...I couldn't finish it. It was a cut up breast and did not gi well with the sauces. This was a good example of why you skip the chicken and go for the more flavorful pork, brisket, ribs, and even sausage. The two best items on my plate were the mac and cheese and the beans. The mac and cheese was made with gouda and smoked. For a really mild, and cheesy flavor. The beans were homemade with a good mix of sweet and smoky. The slaw was the driest slaw I had ever had but I added some BBQ sauce to it and fixed it.There are 2 sauces - sweet and smoky and tangy and spicy. The tangy and spicy was the far superior sauce with a good bit of flavor. The sweet and smoky is made from a Dr. Pepper base. That sounds amazing but this is the 3rd BBQ sauce I've had made from Dr. Pepper. Each one has been very mild and almost tasteless. Out of the 3 though, this one was the best.Sweet tea was refreshingly sweet!Overall, there is some good and not so good here. The beans and mac and cheese was way better than any meat I had, which is troubling for a BBQ joint. The service was nice and though I sort of wanted to bump them up to a 4 because of the service, it was just a balancing act of really good and not so good. And I just looked at my bill and noticed it was $28 sealed the deal for a 3.

The brisket chili was good. The BBQ sundae was fantastic. I only ordered it cause i thought it was a funny concept, but it was a pleasant surprise. Shakes were also good, but the burger was just ok. The pulled pork sandwhich also got the thumbs up from my kids. Our server was quick, got our orders right, and didn't get testy when we changed our minds or ordered last-minute things. While not overly friendly, I'd still call it good service. One of the coolest things about this place is that it's inside an old silo. And the animal artwork is amazing. I'd recommend giving this place a try and see what you think.

We've been coming to Triplets on road trips through Kentucky since it opened. Worth planning your travel around with good food, a wide-enough menu to satisfy a mix of appetites and reasonable prices. Fall-off-the-fork brisket and a variety of ways to enjoy it. I had the brisket melt without bacon - I knew it had Texas Toast but no idea I was ordering a double decker. Pimento cheese, spicy onion rings, yummy brisket. Took the top off and attacked it with a fork and knife. Next time, I may order it with one piece of toast on the bottom. (We don't eat pork but from the comments around us bet it's as good or better.)
