I almost didn't write a review because I saw all previous reviews were 5 star and this wasn't 5 star for me and I didn't want to ruin their streaks. But I thought that wasn't how reviews should go. So then in my head I started justifying all the ways I could make this 5 star. But - it just wasn't. My food was...okay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a cool place with grocery items in addition to the restaurant. I'll go back. I'm a sucker for hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants. But my carne asada is probably 3 star. However, the salsa that came with our chips and salsa order was fire! Fresh, spicy, flavorful, colorful. The meal was expensive and just all right. But we shall return I suspect.

We came here for dinner last night. We had never been here before and I'm fairly certain I've never even noticed this restaurant before. Food was fine, the experience and just the vibe was pretty cool. Exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. I'll definitely come back but will probably go with something more "basic" like tacos or a burrito. I had chilaquiles with steak and egg. Eggs were cooked exactly how I asked (over medium). As often occurs the cut of meat for the steak isn't the best cut of steak on the cow so while it wasn't chewy and gristly it wasn't tender and juicy either. Same with the wife's carne asada - we've both had better steaks at other Mexican places around here. The pork rind wagon wheels (I think that's what they were) were good but we got an order of chips and salsa as well ($5.99!!!) because one of the kids wasn't going to touch those wagon wheels no way no how. The salsa is very good - it's the red and the green mixed with pico de gallo and is quite spicy. All in all the experience and the vibe of the place was better than the food but I'm hopeful some different things off the menu would lead to a better eating experience. Don't get me wrong, the food was fine just not great and with the total bill hitting 95 bucks it wasn't worth that. But I will be back to try the street tacos or burritos.

Anytime I am within 40 miles of this place I have to visit. The best Mexican I have had in years. Everything is tasty and well seasoned, the staff is focused on exceeding your expectations. This is my favorite Memphis spot for good affordable food that is gluten free. The machete is out of this world and enough for two people.You owe it to yourself to stop in and try. I am sure you will become a regular. I love in Florida but wish was my state.

The best, most authentic taco place I've had since I left Phoenix Az. The service was wonderful and the food was hot and delicious. They were very generous with the salsa and yes it was indeed authentic. The Jamaica aqua Fresca was amazing. This will definitely be my go to spot. If you are looking for authentic Hispanic food and quality service, this is the place! 10/10

Moved here from Cali and this place is amazing! Finding good tacos around here has been a challenge but we will def be back to this place!!

Great tacos and fajitas! We also ordered guacamole and they allowed us to have the pico on the side, so the kids would eat it. This was SO helpful and also confirms it is fresh. They were so helpful in making sure our order was gluten free, which I appreciate greatly. It's really hard to find quick stops that are so accommodating. If we ever pass through Olive Branch again, we will make a stop here.

Friendly staff, good atmosphere, good food, good service. Very happy with this. Some driving from the highway

The Pozole was so good !!!It was tasty and authentic .Had to have it twice once on our way to FloridA and again on our way back.
