I just bought some beautiful baby clothes for my great-nephew here and I am so pleased with all of it! The prices are reasonable for exquisite handmade clothing. I found several light-weight cotton day gowns for the long summer months ahead and several diaper sets that you rarely find in department stores. The best part is the extremely helpful staff that did not pester me with the continuous, "May I help you?". They were kind enough to let me look and then suggested other outfits that I might like. Not at all pushy. The atmosphere made for a fun afternoon of shopping!

gotta love womans exchange- a memphis ladies-who-lunch tradition ( and all the others of us who just want a great meal ) my first vist was over 20 years ago-- Dont forget the gift shop with lovely handmade baby items when you want to give something unique, local and benefits the community. Loved the meal! Very Southern, old fashioned, everything was so delicious. It's a cute place to have some tea with husband or girl friends. I cherish the Woman's Exchange cook book that I bought there also. One thing I didn't enjoy much was a selection of the gifts. They were a little dated in taste - sorry! - as well as the way they decorate with those handmade items. Maybe hire someone with fresh ideas?

One of Memphis hidden treasures! The best cooks and the ladies (servers) do an outstanding job!The place reminds me of NY Tavern on the Green. If you are having lunch, ask them to seat you in the back room which over looks at the courtyard. Simply breathtakingly.
