The Thirsty Turtle Tavern

Staying at the marina in Green Turtle Bay and the restaurant is on the property. Hours are not long, but the pizza we had was perfect. Workers were nice and friendly. Nice bar and good cocktails.

I think this is now Tiki Turtle. Great location, views, and chill hangout. Live Music was just ok, but I'm glad they had it. The 4 in our party all ordered Pizza and we all were so hungry from a day on the lake, we didnt complain. However, our pizza were under cooked. And one of the Pizzas had whole garlic cloves on it. Seriously I was thinking that it was a group of kids working the kitchen without any supervision. Come on guys! A little effort would take this place to another level.

Sat for 35 minutes 3 different servers, no order was ever taken or drinks made. Will not be back, very disappointing seems like a very promising location. Possibly due to poor management and organisation. There should be a hostess keeping track of who is seated, the property is far too big to be sit where you want and hope a server shows up.

This is our favorite family restaurant by the lake. We love to take our dogs. Our dogs keep begging to come back!

We had a great time. Enjoyed chips/salsa, gueso and pretzel bites, we each each had a nice glass of beer. The food is average bar food, it was tasty and good. We had yeungling, miller ultra lite and amber bock. The best part was the service! We had the bartender I failed to get her name, she asked several times if we needed anything. She was attentive but not intrusive. She made us feel like friends not customers and that we could stay all night. We enjoyed the viewing the lake and eating.

Disappointing. 6 small wings for 9 dollars. Been there before. I think it used to be better. They should put the trash can farther away from where people eat. About 50 flies were all over us when our food arrived. I was flailing my arms do they would leave us alone the whole time we were eating. Couldn't eat inside because we had a dog that was not certified. Not a relaxing experience. Oh yeah, they charged us for tap water. WTF?

For how busy they were- drinks and food came out fast! I ate the Hawaiian Turtle and it was excellent.

Stellar location on a peninsula with great entertainment areas. A substantially rough service:+ Food was good+ compensated food 20% for multiple delays+ Frozen drinks were good+ Nice outdoor area with lots of seating-Service was slow-Had 3 checks which were messed up for 8 people-Virgin Frozen Margarita was sour mix with ice cubes (not frozen), and charged full price- 3/7 people had the correct sides- food was delayed, due to "computer issue". 2/8 people received their food almost 20min after 6/8 people received already delayed food. - got delayed plastic cutleryServer new, nice, cared and apologetic. Stated they have every beer you could think of. They have no sours, and the only one IPA offered was described as some local "6 amber ale"; sadly, was an amber ale and not an IPA. Drinks on core menu were all good. Chips and salsa were good. Didn't have bacon for BLT's. So much potential, but the botches in service which went well beyond a new server resulted in quite a few hiccups.

Such a bummer, it's a great location but falls so short. Service is so slow but the worst is the flies! You have to eat with one hand and wave the flies off with the other. We've visited multiple times to see if it was a fluke... nope, it's disgusting. ​​

Had the nachos and a cheeseburger both wet served hot and fresh. Beer was cold and service was fast.
