The Shack

Just didn't care for the quality of the food and the way that they bread the wings which we've never seen wings breaded it was crazy. No, I would not recommend this as a place to eat.

By chance, we found this local BBQ place. We ordered a rack of ribs and 3 pounds of bbq to share with our out of town family. It was delicious. The sweet, spicy sauce was a great compliment.

Passing through and saw one review but it looked like a place to stop and try. We were here at 5/45 on a Friday night. Not busy but a varied menu with lots of choices for kids. They even had a bologna sandwich which they said they make and smoke their own. Food came out fast. Two thumbs up on the hotdog and French fries and the single pulled pork sandwich from the kids (ages 10/12).My daughter and I both had a pulled pork sandwich plate with coleslaw on the sandwiches andSides of potato salad and onion rings. Her sandwich was regular sauce and mine spicy. They set the plats down so that we had each other's so we each had a bite of the other's sandwich when we noticed. That means there was a definite difference in sauce flavors with hers being moreSweet and mine spicy.We both enjoyed our meals immensely and if we lived in the area would frequent this place. We saw a couple of plates of full racks of ribs comeOut as we were leaving and I had wished I had room in a cooler to bring some back to WI for my husband. As it is, the foodie he is, he decided we would incorporate this restaurant into our FL travels in December so he can try it out.

Cute little family owned and ran bbq place to stop in and eat. Plenty of seating and very nice decor. It's eclectic and fun. They serve a variety of bbq. It's small batch smoking to keep them consistent.The service was prompt. They provided hand gel as well as a clean bathroom. The wOwner is a wonderful man who is knowledgeable and passionate about his process and product. We had a delightful time swapping stories and techniques we are coming back on the weekend for his smokes ribs!

I have always enjoyed the shack. In this small town you can get pretty limited but it is a staple that all our out of Towners want to repeat when they visit. The food is great. We always get the pulled pork, ribs if they have them and of course their potato salad. They have always been courteous and quick on our prep. It's a solid stop and drop in if you want some good bbq. The serving size is very good too. I think the family pack is around 20$ and easily feeds at least 4.

Ribs are amazing. Will continue to go back for them. Coleslaw is amazing as well as the potato salad. Large portions. Friendly staff. no complaints

Over the course of a few months I have spent money at the shack in Camden Tennessee. I am from Ohio and we always enjoy Tennessee barbecue. I ordered two full butts, I was having a family member pick them up and drive them to Ohio for a funeral for a family member. The only request that I had from the shack is that they triple wrap the butts for the 9 Hour drive.... The owner, Don, said he is not triple wrapping and he is not even double rapping. I don't understand what is so hard about triple or even double wrapping barbecue after I paid $40 per butt. No worries, Don, you will never get this money or this business again! Toodles and learn how to do business!

This was pretty far off the beaten path en route from Memphis to Nashville but it had good reviews and we were craving bbq. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was good though pretty dry, and my friend's bologna sandwich was okay but nothing to write home about. The two women working there were very sweet and the service was really good. Might rate it higher if we didn't drive 17 miles out of our way.

They NEVER disappoint !!!! I love love their Frychos ...... Their potato salad is awesome as well.... Friendly staff. Will continue to return for more.
