This is our go to spot for breakfast. The food is always tasty and worth the price. We especially enjoy their tenderloin either in a biscuit or as the meat choice with eggs.

If you're looking for Southern food in Corinth then your choices are plentiful. The Pitstop is my choice for breakfast, particularly a tenderloin and biscuit. It's laaaarge and good. The service is excellent. You can expect to be called hun or bud. The decor includes just enough racing themed gear to honor its name. Lots of places in town are good. This one is worth a visit.

Haven't visited the Pitstop for some time and came here for breakfast on a Saturday. For years this was pretty much a local BBQ stop but I was surprised to see it is now a full blown breakfast and lunch stop. Our breakfast was really good. The scrambled eggs were done to perfection, grits were great and the biscuits were first class- and HUGE. Everyone in town comments on the size of their biscuits and I would have to agree. We also tried a Philly cheese steak omelet which was delicious. Good to see a local restaurant doing well under trying circumstances and serving up great food. A new addition will add some welcome dining space to a pretty cramped seating area when it opens in a couple of weeks.

Not sure how this place has 5 stars...went here after fishing all night and I saw that Abe's Grill was closed. I got two chicken buiscuits, a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, and hash browns, it was gross. I tried it all and it all got thrown out, if I can't eat it after fishing all night, something is wrong. Waffle House is much better and that's a fact. My advice is, if Abe's is closed, sit there and wait until it isn't!

Stopped here for lunch as was not disappointed. The drive thru lane was crazy but that may be due to Covid. I had the pulled pork and it was good. It had a nice smoke flavor to it but not overpowering. The people around me said I missed out on the dumplings as they were amazing. Next time I am in town I will have have to try them. The only thing I did not like was you can smoke in the restaurant.

Did your grandmother make cathead biscuits for you when you were a child? Do you miss that experience of seeing a biscuit larger than your hand with a piece of breaded tenderloin sticking out 3 inches all around that huge biscuit? You can go back in time and reminisce when you enjoy one of the tenderloin biscuits from The Pit Stop. Two people can make a meal from one biscuit. You can buy two for $5.00 and have one for supper later. Make some mashed potatoes, gravy and macaroni and reheat that biscuit and tenderloin in a slow oven while you ready the other food.....dayyum good eatin'. They also advertise a daily lunch of a meat and 3 vegetables with a dessert for $5.50. I haven't tried a plate lunch, but plan to one day soon. I found something that I like and I have stuck with it.***update as of 1/2016 they are closed on Saturdays

Prejudice and hatred are still very real. My husband took me to breakfast at the Pitstop in Corinth, Ms this morning and I wanted pancakes. I am of African descent. The server told me that they were preparing lunch on the grills so I couldn't have pancakes. So I ended up ordering a biscuit which I hated because it was COLD and was offered NO butter for the biscuit. It was 10:05 am. Breakfast doesn't end until 10:30 and then lunch starts. A Caucasian woman came in to eat and she ordered pancake and was served a nice fresh and hot pancake. I made it known in a very polite way that my skin color may be brown but God created me just as special as they are. . Then I blessed them by leaving a tip for the server and telling them that I love them with the love of God. I shed a few tears behind that one. Hurtful still. God sees all

Looking for a real southern breakfast? Come to the Pitstop. Thank you Cracker Barrel for not opening early, I would have never found this place. The Cat Head biscuits are phenomenal. My entire experience here was great and the service was exceptional, the two ladies were very attentive and extremely friendly.
