The Pier

It's a shame that this spot is one of few on the lake. I'm ok with the prices, I expect to pay more for the convenience of a drive up pier and food on the water. What I take issue with is the complete lack of acknowledging customers and terrible wait times. We (a family) stood there for 4 min directly in front of a waitress without her even looking up and saying anything. "I'll be right with you" or "please take a seat" we didn't even know if they were open. The real disappointment was the wait estimated 25-30 min at ordering, ended up being nearly 50 min. I see that they are near a campground, I assume that most of their business is take out for convenience. I guess I just was looking for a little better service. Side note, and I'm probably being petty now, our take out order didn't have any forks or napkins...

Great service, great food, new manager seems to have turned place around drastically, ignore the bad reviews, this place is great for a quick stop for burgers, wings, and other food like that

Not worth walking in the door! The kitchen can't keep up with orders and is very rude to customers! The so called cook, screams at his wait staff constantly causing a hostile work environment and all this is done where the customers can hear and see it!! The management is non existent!!!

Ordered a cheeseburger with fries and slaw , chicken fry nachos and a side of fried okra, to go. This was Tuesday May 31 at a little after noon. There were non other people in the restaurant at the time. I was told it would be "out in just a minute". After I placed my order over the course of the next almost hour several diners came in. Yes I said all most an hour because that's how long it took to get a 3/8 inch black piece of meat on a stale bun with a few fries and a 1/2 cup of slaw! The Fry Nachos came too, a chicken breast cubed on top of fries with a sprinkling of cheese and banana peppers. $30.00 that what the fiasco cost me. If your not in any hurry and have an hour and money to waste I guess it would be an acceptable place.!

This place was super disappointing. The waitress seemed kinda confused and didn't really have an answer for most of our questions. The water tasted like it came straight from the lake itself. The wait time was UNREAL for food especially considering we were the only table in the whole restaurant. When we finally got the food it was OK, but just OK. Not really a great experience overall.

We were warmly greeted by the staff of the Pier and told we could choose a table anywhere. My sister and I chose a table by the windows so we could see the water. We took pictures of the menu to post on Yelp. I chose the catfish platter and my sister got the cheeseburger and fries. Our waitress Kayla was very attentive during our meal and gave us a wonderful dining experience. Although they do not have a huge menu, our meals were very good.
