Worst seat in the house -- orchestra row C seat 12 -- these seats shouldn't even exist. I could only see 50% of the stage at best.

The Orpheum, a renowned venue in the heart of Memphis, has consistently provided me with unforgettable experiences. Having attended several shows, including Tina, Cats, and Les Misérables, I can confidently say that the Orpheum never fails to impress. One of the standout features of the Orpheum is its commitment to safety and exceptional customer service. From the moment you step foot inside, you are greeted by friendly and attentive staff who prioritize your comfort and enjoyment. As a season ticket holder, I have the added benefit of selecting seats in a row that offers extra legroom, a feature that is particularly appreciated by taller individuals like myself. The Orpheum's attention to detail and customer satisfaction truly sets it apart. While the theaters at the Orpheum may be smaller compared to those in New York, the talent showcased on its stage is nothing short of extraordinary. The performers deliver captivating performances that rival those on Broadway. The shows I have seen have left me thoroughly entertained and satisfied. Whether it's the incredible vocal performances or the mesmerizing choreography, the Orpheum consistently delivers high-quality productions that impress even the most discerning theater enthusiasts.Aside from the exceptional performances, the ambiance of the Orpheum adds to the overall experience. The historic charm of the theater, combined with its elegant decor, creates an enchanting atmosphere that transports you to another time. Every visit to the Orpheum feels like stepping into a world of magic and wonder. In conclusion, the Orpheum is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy a captivating show. The commitment to safety, friendly customer service, and extra legroom for season ticket holders contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The talented performers bring the stage to life, offering unforgettable performances that rival those on Broadway. Whether you're a theater aficionado or simply looking for a memorable night out, the Orpheum is the perfect choice. I highly recommend experiencing the magic of the Orpheum for yourself and immersing yourself in the world of exceptional live performances.

Wow. I cannot share enough love for the Orpheum. We have seen so many shows here over the last eight years from Wicked and Phantom to Dear Evan Hansen and Hamilton to Come From Away, Les Mis, Hadestown, Finding Neverland, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Aladdin to things like Harry Potter with the live orchestra. It's always an amazing time and a true night out when the Orpheum is involved. I used to say "there isn't a bad seat in the house, but there certainly are better seats" and while I mostly still stand by that, we had some atrocious seats in the orchestra section (row C, seat 12) where I could only see 50% of the stage at best. I didn't see Hades (from Hadestown!!!!) until the second act when we asked to move seats..These seats shouldn't even be offered. They're that obstructed. I've sat in the highest seats for shows like Dear Evan Hansen and Les Mis and was truly happy to be there to experience the show. We've sat in the balcony for shows like Phantom, Finding Neverland, and Lion King and were blown away. We've sat in the orchestra for shows like Hamilton, Aladdin, and Hadestown. And I'm so happy we have the Orpheum to bring such beauty to our city. The ushers prove to be some of the sweetest humans time and time again. Very grateful to live in a Memphis where the Orpheum exists!

Got to love this theatre! Saw a comedy show here and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions for a first timer. Highly advise finding the bars at the top floors for a lot less lines.

What a beautiful theatre!First off, I had no idea there were multiple Orpheum Theatre's throughout the county. This was my first visit to an Orpheum and I loved it. The venue was so beautiful. Once you are inside there is a beautiful staircase that leads up to the upper levels. Upon entering, if you walk to the left there is a concession area for drinks. They sell plastic cups if you want to take your drink inside the theatre and these are the only cups allowed inside. You are not allowed to bring water bottles. Bathrooms are located downstairs and there's also another bar.

I love attending shows here. The staff are always so courteous. They greet you and show you to your seat with smile. The chairs are fairly comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. View is great regardless of where you sit. Very simple purchasing of tickets online. Sound system is great. Tonight's show was amazing. I can't wait to visit again.

Took my daughter to see the Lion King at the Orpheum this week and was blown away! The production, music performances, and costumes were Broadway-worthy. I appreciated the Orpheum staff for allowing us to keep our phones during the show, constantly reminding the audience to wear our masks at all times, and how they all worked together to get everyone seated before each Act. Bravo! Go check'em out! You won't be disappointed!Cheers!

I love the orpheum. Great venue. Not a bad seat in the house. BUT they need more/faster bartenders. They also need the attendants to direct people to lines that aren't so long. Just went to see Tom Segura and missed at least 15 mins of his short set waiting for two drinks. I thought they would at least have him on the speaker system so you didn't miss it. That was a no.

Manager Eric was an absolutely rude jerk to me tonight. Theater itself is beautiful, but watch out for the rude manager and- not just to me, but also to his kind and helpful staff.

Their ticket sales are screwed up. They wouldn't let me buy two seats on the end of an aisle so I bought went and went back to buy the second. It still wouldn't let me. I called them and the make employee I talked was extremely rude and even hung up on me.
