I was waiting to get my insurance bill before writing a review. Everything was covered just as they said it would be! We had called around town, to see who accepted our insurance plan. But we never got a call back from anyone. The staff here was really nice and awesome, all the way from the tech who did the prelims to Dr Andrew who finished us up. Probably the best I've seen, and I've seen quite a few. I think what makes the difference is their disposition. They're really friendly. And I see they actually care about and monitor customer feedback which is great. I don't give many 5 stars, but it's warranted here.

I've been a customer for at least 5 years, like the doctors but my last 3 transactions with frames has been less than positive. 1st time my frames were broken by them, had to wear a loaner frame w/ correct lenses, went back to get the new frame and the lenses were made too small. I asked that they be adjusted and they tried to gaslight me that they were fine. I had to go back and have the lenses remade and they admitted the problem, so multiple, multiple trips and bother. Next time I ordered sunglasses which turned out frame couldnt be made in my script. I returned picked out some more, asked if there was a price diff and they said no. Got my insurance statement and there was a price diff. I called twice before I could get the office manager to admit the problem. She would not listen to me. They begrudgingly refund. I just recently called to ask for a lens replacement (from above mentioned frames) under two year warranty and the same office manager said it was impossible bc the lenses I purchased can only be made at a 1 year warranty which I was NOT told. I sat with the rep and wrote the warranty dates in my calendar. I can forgive mistakes of course but do not like being lied to or ignored when I have legitimate questions.

I've been a lifelong customer, but not anymore. I bought some glasses for my 4 year old son from the optical Boutique and paid extra to get higher quality lenses and a two year warranty. But when my son's lens broke a few months later, the Optical Boutique refused to honor the warranty because we didn't keep the broken shards of his lens. We brought in the glasses frame and the other lens, but because one lens was broken they wormed their way out of the warranty. I love supporting local businesses and am happy to pay the premium prices. But if they aren't going to stand behind their products then I'll buy glasses online at a fraction of the price. Both myself and my son will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Awesome experience every time, from the phone calls, the front desk, the tech and doctors, AND the eyewear/contacts people! Everyone is really nice and they really do a great job at making sure your vision (and glasses in my case) are in top shape! HIGHLY recommended!

Great optometry practice centrally located between Collierville and East Memphis. Dr. Shum knows his stuff and everything from scheduling to getting contacts/glasses is a breeze.
