We have eaten here twice and both meals were great. We stopped today for lunch 1/17/25. We ask for a booth not a table and since there was 7 open and one with a reservation sign didn't seem to be a Problem. She was going to sit us at a table with full sun coming in with no shade. I ask for another table. Two workers acted as if that was a hard decision. One table needed to be cleaned 3 were open. We sat down and everyone walked off and we waited 10 -15 mins to be acknowledged. The reservation table was not used the the whole hour and half we were therePlaced our order all at once the house hamburger was very good. The fries were Luke warm. The waitress was very nice she seemed new.

Overdue review.... Been here twice and both times have been absolutely superb! My "Surprises" have been beyond delicious! Top notch service. With a twist of personal attention. There's inside and patio seating (heated) which I appreciate as I'm always cold.

If you're in in downtown Clarksville, Tennessee you must stop by The Mailroom! It's a unique place that is in a former post office. They have a wide variety and is not expensive at all. This was my 2nd here and we came their 2nd birthday. Our super sweet server was April and said we could request her when we come back. I had the low country boil and it's a great dish from South Carolina which I've missed since I lived there. We also had the Monkey Bread which was a delicious 3 cheese bread.

The Mailroom is such a gem in Clarksville from the unique building to the decor and ambiance. I have never had bad service being that all the workers here are friendly and have provided excellent service. As for the food, I haven't found one dish I was disappointed in. My favorite has to be the chimichurri steak or the fried chicken breakfast sandwich! I definitely recommend to dine here for brunch, lunch or dinner.

we stop by here for some lunch in Clarksville. It was my first time in this neighborhood and we genuinely didn't know where to go but one of my friends who is a local here took us to the mail room. I ended up getting a fresh peach tea and a Caesar salad and it was pretty good. The Caesar was really creamy so if that's your style, you should definitely come here, but I wasn't able to eat a lot of it. the fresh peach tea was OK. It was a little bit down, but it did the job in refreshing me.The waitress was extremely kind and was pretty good. The space is actually really beautiful inside and the ambience is quite high for the area.

We went for an early lunch. The service was great and the food and drinks were amazing. I had the bison burger and my husband had the melt.

I went to the Mailroom today for brunch. Was meeting up with a ladies group that I'm a member of. The atmosphere is very quaint and of course it's in the environment of an old post office. It is very popular with the locals and was busy again today. I was encouraged by this and hoped for a great experience. We had a lovely waitress by the name of Ava T. She was very cordial, professional, and attentive. One of my stars for the Mailroom goes entirely to her and her service. She kept the drinks coming and gave us excellent service. I hate having to write a non-favorable review when the service is great, but unfortunately, that is the result for today.I cannot eat a lot of food since my large weight loss. So I opted to go with the kids brunch meal. Normally, the kids meal includes eggs, prepared anyway federal potatoes, and your choice of bacon or sausage. In my case, I opted for scrambled eggs, bacon, and substituted the potatoes for grilled vegetables. I figured this would be a good choice for my needs. It did not take a long time to get served, I will have to say. But what I was served was absolutely lamentable. The eggs were at best lukewarm, and lacked flavor. The bacon was limp and greasy. The grilled vegetables were just as greasy as the bacon and had no flavor whatsoever and no seasoning whatsoever. What's worse is that I was charged $15.38 for this meal with an unsweetened iced tea. I could have gotten better from IHOP.Of the other ladies who ordered, the most appetizing item was their salad. I was so disappointed, and I wanted to be amazed. If you're going to charge people these kinds of prices, you need to bring your A game to the table. I'm afraid Mailroom misses the mark completely. I will not be back. I'd much rather go to Old Glory Distillery or Strawberry Alley Ale Works.

We came here on our first trip to the area. We were recommended by a local vendor. We loved the ambiance and the repurposing of the vintage building. We walked in about an hour before lunch service began, which had us there for a later brunch. The restaurant was not closed and we weren't the last to arrive for the brunch menu. We got annoyed looks from the staff, making us think they were closed. We were begrudgingly seated. We got 2 agua Frescas. One had flavor, while the over tasted like stale crystal light water. My husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich. My egg sandwich was dripping butter but fine. It took a hot minute to get our check.

First time here with some friends while we were visiting. Honestly the food was great. Lots of options for drinks too. They had great specials available. We sat outside and the patio was spacious and well laid out. Inside was huge too. Our server was fantastic so the next part of this review is not a reflection on her at all. She was super pleasant and helpful. Apparently they installed a new ordering software system which seems to have been a disaster. Our appetizers didn't come out on time or together, some entrees came out and others didn't. People wanted to be polite and not start until everyone got their food but by that time their food was cold. Overall execution was disappointing. The manager came out to apologize, but was far from empathetic. I'd go back again on our next visit to see if it had improved.
