The Madden Crab

I've come here a couple times now with some coworkers. We always get the hush puppies which is great for dipping in the butter once the meal comes. We always get the meal D option and I usually sub out the crawfish for either more lobster or more snow crab. I will say the crab is hard to eat but the sausage and potatoes soak up the butter and seasoning which tastes amazing

We arrived around 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday. We didn't expect it to be busy at that time. There was only one table of people besides us. We didn't let that concern us since it was still early in the day. The server sat us in a booth. We asked to move because the seats were badly worn and very uncomfortable. We could feel the springs and torn covering. She moved us to a table with wobbly chairs, but it was better than the booth. The table, however, was right underneath a radio speaker that was playing constant commercials that were mostly static. We asked the server to either turn it down or change the station because it was very loud and annoying. She yelled to someone to fix the radio, but they never did. We endured the terrible static noise. My husband and son ordered two dozen oysters, and I ordered an order of calamari. The oysters did NOT taste fresh, and the calamari was rubbery with undercooked batter. We did NOT finish the food. We finished our two beers and water and left without ordering any main entrees. It was $58.00. Not worth it. Don't go. It was NOT good. The server also cleaned up tables with the bussing cart without washing her hands. Gross.

Food was great! Served quickly and nice and hot! Had dinner shrimp was way more than I anticipated! Cajun fries very good not spicy! Ordered hush puppies! Good as well! Service great! Place so clean was impressed! Complaint!!!! I hate eating with plastic utensils and styrofoam plates! Take out ok!!!! But restaurants inside I'll probably go back, maybe do takeout so I can use real utensils and plates!

We both got the crab special which was 1/2 lb crab, shrimp, potatoes, corn ect. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Only minor grip is no real silverware. They had the crab crackers but not way to open the harder to open parts of the leg. The plastic forks didn't do the job. Wish they at least had the hard plastic pry tools. Again since it was cooks perfectly this wasn't a huge issue. Had they had those it would easily have gotten 5 stars. We will eat here on the next trip in the area.

All of our food was delicious! We ordered the appetizer Hushpuppies which were very tasty and our party had Combo C and Combo D which fed all 4 of us, but could have fed at least 2 more people!!!! Service was great as well.

This place never disappoints. 10/10 recommend getting steamed rice with your boil bag.

Great food. Hot, fresh, generous portions with quality seafood. Service was stellar!

The crab legs were overcooked, making them hard to pull the meat out of the shell. The rice is bland, both fried and white. Everything we had needed salt. The place itself is set up and decorated super cute. The tilapia was good. The majority of the food just didn't quite live up to our expectations/hopes, sadly.

Worst meal we have had in Tupelo. Cheese sticks were bland, the marinara was spoiled. They brought out another one. The wings were stale. 7 in our party and the best thing on table was the tea. Don't know how gave this a 5 star rating. Mercy, $147.00 meal that couldn't be enjoyed by anyone. Snow Crab LegsFried Catfish BasketCombination BWingsChicken strips None of the above was any good.

if y'all are going to eat the atmosphere there was amazing but 1hour before they close they only except takeout and will not seat you when there is 1 hour left and that is posted no where and this is after I drove a hour to eat it
