The Kitchen Table

This was our first time having brunch at The Kitchen Table, and it did not disappoint. We came with some friends and everyone really enjoyed the food.We've always enjoyed our visits and this brunch was no exception.

I wanted to love this place. But it feels like they're still learning how to run a restaurant. The purple hull pea hummus was so good but they literally DRENCHED it in truffle oil to the point I thought it was water pooling in the bowl and just about got a migraine when all that truffle oil touched my tongue. We tried to eat around it but we couldn't finish it. The debris sandwich was meh and just tasted like pot roast on bread. However, the TKT burger was hands down the best burger I've had in the Memphis area!! So, I think they have a lot of potential but they're still working out the kinks in the kitchen. We plan to go back in a few months and try again.

This place is a hidden gem! Had a great time with friends Friday evening. The food tasted delicious and our server was super nice! Shout out to Tasha!! We started off with deviled eggs with candied bacon. The mixture was smooth and had a slight kick of heat. The candied bacon added to the appetizer. The fried green tomatoes were a nice recommendation. Some in our party did not like the pimento cheese. It was different. The candied bacon on top was a tasty treat. My friend ordered the blackened catfish with Parmesan truffle fries. She also had a jalapeño corn muffin on the side. The catfish was moist and cooked to perfection. The delicious fries were a great compliment to the fish. The flavor was on point. Another friend ordered meat loaf that had a variety of seasonings and the gravy was not too salty. It came with long yummy broccolini. They ordered collard greens as well and enjoyed those. The chicken kebabs were okay. Friend said the marinade was a little too sweet for her and would have liked it to be a tad more spicy. My other friend said her BLT was very good as the pork belly had a good flavor and was tasty. I ordered the shrimp and grit cake. I like the subtle spice in the gravy and grit cake. The shrimp was not over cooked and seasoned. We were sorta stuffed but decided to share the bread pudding. Tasted like a cinnamon roll which is a little different. A tad pricey for the amount you receive. It is quite unique. I really enjoyed eating here at this quaint place in the older part of Arlington. It is larger and very bright with country like decor. It reminds me of a country inn or restaurant in a bed and breakfast. I am very glad a friend recommended the newish place that used to be Vinegar Jim's. I will definitely return!

Found this place on our way back home to Texas. So glad we did, I looked at the lunch menu and picked out the crawfish lasagna with a side order of gumbo, chicken and sausage. I got to say I had my doubts about the lasagna, but it was actually exceptionally good. The taste of the crawfish really came through and made this dish something special. I love it when you get a tea glass it's in a quart jar size because you know you're not going to have to ask for very many refills. The wait person was extremely friendly and welcoming. Would definitely find this place again on another trip through this area.

The food was amazing with a lot of great flavor. The drink was a Tartini and was very tasty! Our waitress was very friendly with great recommendations. Very welcoming environment with a home country vibe.

Went for brunch on Saturday and it was wonderful! The food,atmosphere and service was top notch!! My daughter just had a baby and they wanted to get out of the house for a bit. We sat outside so we weren't by a lot of people and the patio is mostly covered and they have a lot of fans. Everyone said their food was great and the beignets and pimento cheese fried green tomatoes were delicious!!! Our server was awesome too! We will definitely be going back!! I highly recommend this place!!

I really didn't want to make a negative review for this local restaurant. But, that being said I hope they can improve in the future.The price is not worth the product! Total bill for two with no drinks just water $167!!!1. my wife and I ordered appetizer $22 crab claws - lol - I would be embarrassed to serve. I wish I had taken pictures. In short "stay away "Truly embarrassing.2. Steaks were ok kinda like roadhouse but more fat. $38.00 each - thin and not worth the price. Go to butcher shop or Longhorn.3. Wedge salad, was so- small 1/4 wedge little bacon, tomato, etc. And we had to ask for more dressing. " stay away, it's a joke"4.desert was bread pudding and it was fantastic.. I also loved the cheese cake that another couple with us had ordered.Finally, the waitress "bless her heart" didn't have a clue about anything on the menu and stumbled through her obvious first day on the job.In short I hope the owners take reviews serious and can make changes or they will end up like the previous owners."Out of business"

Food is excellent. Really expensive but really good , fair trade off. WHAT IS NOT OKAY IS CHARGING SOMEONE 16$ FOR PLACING A TO GO ORDER !!!!! That's absolutely insane !!! You're charging more than Gordon Ramsay steak in Las Vegas and Hell's Kitchen for a Togo order , theirs is a flat 8$ for a to go order. Charging someone 20% of their order total for making the same food in the restaurant. Is insane !!! Will not be patronizing this establishment again. !! I gave them a 4 star review previously. This is terrible business practice especially in today's economy where people are trying to scrape by. Shame on you owner !!! SHAME !!!!

The Kitchen Table doesn't disappoint! We started with the stacks. They were fabulous! I had the Super Salad, my favorite; the hubbs had the filet. I don't eat meat, but his generously sized filet looked so amazing coupled with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Not sure if even a crumb remained. It was so good!It's always sweet to be welcomed by Dalton, and served by Tasha!

We went to dinner with friends around new year and the food was amazing! Service was good and the ambiance was great. We have been to the previous restaurant and the changes in decor are great!
