The Juicy Egg

OMG this is the perfect little gem! We came here for breakfast. The service was outstanding, Lisa was very friendly and the food was superb. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and the food was very delicious! If you're looking for a good breakfast in a nice and clean restaurant this is the place!

Food was excellent! We ordered the Senorita Bowl and the Dad Bod Bowl. Big portions but delicious as well. We had some car trouble and the owners and the staff were amazing helping us out! I could go into details but I'll just leave it at they are wonderful!

Well we went again yesterday, because breakfast didn't disappoint, the burger was good, but man I wish I could get some fresh vegetables in this county, ever since we've been here every place has mushy tomatoes, and the purple onion, we all know don't put the outside rings on a burger they're waxy and you can't chew through them, other than that service was great as usual clean and quiet just the way we like it.

Lordy I love French toast and seriously this is the best I have ever had. No need for syrup or their secret creamy syrup it's delicious just as is. Also had chorizo burrito and I heard raves of the spicy tasty chorizo. Chorizo In Tennessee shouldn't be this good! Better then anything in California we have tasted. Cute little place in a hard to notice strip mall but well worth you looking for it if your close. Service is awesome friendly and fast. My cup of coffee and his ice tea never went empty. If we were here longer I would have tried the burger. All I know is if you are anywhere close you HAVE to make this place a stop on the trip.

We heard so many wonderful recommendations of this place so we headed out. Walking in I loved the cheerful decor they choose. We were told to seat ourselves and that she would be with us shortly. Evidently she had a busy morning and trying to keep afloat. Within a few she brought us menus and took our drink order. We ordered coffee. Now I prefer strong coffee and this was no where close but I know that going in so it's always a gamble. Shortly after that someone else came to work and took our order. The two waitresses were great in wanting to refresh our coffee but it wasn't my cup of tea. Our food came and needless to say I was not impressed with my dish. Hubby's looked good though. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken and waffle. The waffle was maybe 1/4" thick. And just a small piece of chicken on top. When I tapped on the edge of the chicken it's was hard. No butter on the waffle so I asked for some. The butter did melt so it was hot. So then I pushed the chicken aside and cut into the chicken. For the most part it was tender inside but I didn't find any heat at all. Had hubby try it since he can detect heat before me and nope nothing. He had biscuits and chicken and had more chicken then I did. He was gracious enough to give me one of his. The peppered gravy was very good and the chicken was tender. I'd eaten 3/4 of my waffle and our waitress never checked on us. The first waitress came y about then and checked on our coffee so I decided to ask a question. What makes this Nashville hot chicken? She said they roll it in red pepper flakes. That baffled me. I told her that it was not hot at all and had hubby check too. No apology no offer to make it better, nothing. Come to find out that was the owner. It was really surprising when my dish cost more than my hubby's and he had two pieces of chickens. When I looked at their Facebook page I see a picture of the dish and it was nothing like mine. In fact they had two pieces of chicken and you could see the seasoning in the patty plus it had other things on the plate. It was 4-5 red balls and not sure what that was but it was not on mine. The plate looked so much better than mine. I know things are hard and tight right now but a simple apology or acknowledgment goes a long way. Sad as we really want to support small businesses.

I was really disappointed in this place we have eaten here a couple of times and this place just misses the boat. I always try to give a place a couple of chances before I make up my mind but it is evident that this place needs a lot of help. They are way overpriced for the food you get, and the food is not visually appealing. Food doesn't necessarily taste bad just unappealing. I have tried the chorizo omelette, breakfast club and apple pie waffle. The waffle was pretty tasty but just visually unpleasant (looked like a big brown blob) . Their price point is what cinched the deal for me to not return. $13 for the club that did not come with a side or drink. Just expected more reasonable prices for food that was subpar. Cheaper to eat out at nice restaurant was not expecting this for a diner.

Food was great!! Came out very quick. Waitress was amazing as well!! Definitely would go back again!!

This place is so good! I got the breakfast burrito it was huge and delicious and the young lady working was sweet as pie I recommend the trip

I heard so many things about the juicy egg and decided to give it a try. Service was ok. The atmosphere smelled like old cigarette smoke. When we received our meals the first thing I noticed is the scrambled eggs were wayyyy overcooked. Waffles were overcooked as well. The French toast was probably the best out of everything we ordered. For the price of what we paid...I don't think we'll be back.

I met my brother there for breakfast while we were both randomly in the area. I sent my food back after three bites. The poached eggs were hard, and didn't taste right. The Hollandaise sauce was runny and broken. The English muffin was cold and not toasted. My brother ate one of his eggs, but said the second one did not taste right. It's a few hours later, and we both have food poisoning. No there is not a chance we ate something else, or caught something. It was the first time we've seen each other in months since we both drive over the road, and this was the first (and only) meal either one of us had for the day. I've tried calling them to alert them the eggs may be bad. No one answers and the voicemail is "not set up".
