This is Starkville's only kinda cool bar for the portion of the population who aren't students/undergraduates. Service is usually pretty attentive and generally knowledgeable. Pricing is on par for S'ville (overpriced, I mean get real this ain't NYC y'all!"). between Thanksgiving and Christmas is always a gun time due to the entire bar being tricked out with holiday decor and super fun and inventive drinks. Of course, as I mentioned this is the one and only "cool" bar, so during the holidays it is also super difficult to get in to the bar :/

Located underground in alley behind Restaurant Tyler. The same great service and food. Reminds you of the old speak easy, atmosphere is unique. Nothing else like it in Starkville, highly recommend.

Terrible! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY! We waited in line for an hour during Christmas. Our whole party was there to be seated, per instructed. We were the third group in line with multiple open tables and an open bar and they told us they couldn't seat a party of 8. However, there was a part of 3 seated at a 6 top still "waiting on the other 3". So rules apply.....but only to certain people. Go somewhere else in Starkville where they appreciate your business. Harvey's will try their best to accommodate you any day of the week.

Very quaint bar/restaurant in downtown Starkville. Extensive bar selection with experienced bartenders and really good food. Don't feel like you're in Mississippi. Perfect hangout for a small group to have dinner and some specialty cocktails.

We went on a Saturday for a date night and will definitely be back. The ambiance is very dark, fun, and intimate. Our cocktails were delicious and very well balanced. We ordered the pork belly pappardelle and the lamb gnocchi. The gnocchi is the best pasta dish I've ever had. We're instantly obsessed with this place.

They don't take reservations, open at 5:00 (allegedly). We were in line at 4:30, maybe 20 people ahead of us. As we stood, we saw multiple groups go in and immediately come back out. A party we knew came out and said they had been told the bar seating (which was empty) "had people coming". Not sure how that works, as they "don't take reservations." When we reached the hostess, we were told there was a 2 hour wait, despite multiple empty tables. We left, but someone we had seen in line was at that point seated at the bar. I've been here in the past and the food/beverages were acceptable, not anything I'd return specifically for, but our group was there for the holiday décor. I won't be back, as apparently they have no policy and simply seat who they want. They don't need the business if they can turn away customers with a half empty venue.

Cool atmosphere and that is it!! Worst old fashion I've ever had!! Bourbon is insanely overpriced and food the food is horrible. Waste your money somewhere else

The environment is romantic and the cocktails are delicious. This is a gem in an area where you don't find many places like this. The food was good, there were a few mistakes made like forgetting to bring certain things and only having one spoon left for our desert that we ordered but overall good experience and good food.
