The Farmhouse Restaurant

We stopped in for supper on our bike journey to The Pig Trail and weren't disappointed. Service was awesome and staff were friendly. The sweet southern drawl of the hostess & waitress melted into my ears like molasses. But the best thing about it was the food was absolutely delicious! I had the fried catfish with hush puppies and my buddy had the Thursday special, Chicken Fried Steak with fried squash and it took us back to the home cooking we had as a youngsters in Texas. Definitely recommend and I'll be back!

Do yourself a favor and Try the potato's and gravy. This place has delicious food and super friendly staff, and beautifully decorated.

There aren't many breakfast restaurants in this area, and even fewer that are open on Sunday morning. The Farmhouse filled the bill - a nice, friendly Southern restaurant with traditional breakfast offerings. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, and savory home fries hit the spot. Great service and immaculately clean restrooms. Will definitely return when in the area again and next time I'll try the vegetable plate with its, greens, and fried tomatoes for lunch.

Great food. Generous portions. A little distance off I22 but well worth the detour. Gear service and ambiance.

Good southern catfish dinner on a Friday night! I got the small platter and it came with 3 sides, and I couldn't even eat all of it. Loved the tartar sauce too! Staff were welcoming and kind. PS- they even have breakfast at night; my son got scrambled eggs, pancakes and bacon and loved it!

Great little place off the beaten path. Friendly service and good food. Perfect stop for breakfast heading out of town.

GO HERE! Get off the road and go here. Excellent menu. And don't pass on the chocolate gravy or fried green tomatoes. Don't argue. Go now! I will be back.

Very good meat and 3 restaurant. Serves breakfast all day also. Large portions of really good food at fair prices & excellent, friendly service. I got the vegetable plate, & thoroughly enjoyed it. 99/100 health score when I was there yesterday.
