When we first pulled up, we wondered if we were at the right place. The food we had seen in reviews, you wouldn't expect to come from this place. It is definitely a "don't judge a book by its cover"We started with the crab stuffed artichoke for appetizer. OMG!! It was incredible. My husband had the Chateaubriand steak. Simply amazing!!! The flavor was spot on and he could cut it with his butter knife. I had the Ron Jones chicken breast with risotto. My mouth waters every time I think of eating this. It ranks up there as one of the best things I've ever had. Our waitress was very friendly and very attentive. We can't wait to go back and have recommended it to any one we can.

I was really excited to try this place. It did not live up to the hype. Unfortunately. We made reservations for 4. However, my daughter has a 6 month old that was also coming, so we called back to let them know we would have her also and need a high chair. They let us know they infact did need to know, and we were informed we'd be sitting under the air conditioner, so probably consider jackets. That table was also right next to the bathroom .. thanks. So the catch is this is a New York Chef, and the condition of the building shouldn't matter, right? Wrong, there is a difference between shabby and dirty. This was dirty. Ok, so we were still super excited. Our waitress really chatted up the chef and how we would not be able to finish our dinner. We all ordered appetizers and full dinners. Regarding the food... the Calamari and Wagu beef apps were excellent. The salad came next in warped old wooden bowls with my dressing in a plastic cup. Not what you would expect from a fancy chef place. Then, the main course came hubby's Eagu beef was very good. Son in law got an Italian dish, which he also said was very good. I ordered the spiny lobster dinner. The loaded baked potato was awesome. However, the lobster was not good. It was dry overcooked and had a terrible slimy taste on the outer side. So my daughter feeling bad ordered me 2 lobster tails to go. Unfortunately, when we checked for them, they were not in the bag. My son in law had to go back to get them, but they weren't cooked, go figure. Overall, some of the food was stellar, but not enough to go back.

Amazing food to be found here. Whether you come in for a sandwich at lunch, or a full meal at dinner, the food is always 5 star. The service is always good. This is not a check back, check down, done place, it is full service with several check backs. Highly recommend.

Moved to Henry Co just a few months ago and have been trying different places. Found this place on Yelp and we thought we would try it.When we pulled in to the parking lot (on a Wednesday early evening) we weren't sure if they were open. When we walked in we knew this was going to be an amazing experience. Not a lot of tables but very quaint. Red and white checkered tablecloths with nice table setting. The very extensive regular menu along with the special menu made it very difficult to choose. We started with the bruschetta and crabmeat stuffed mushrooms Worcestershire butter sauce. They were both absolutely the best! We used the homemade breads to sop up the juices. The main course... I chose the brisket with pierogi and asparagus. Tracy chose the Linguine Lorelei. I cannot even describe how perfectly cooked it all was. I so badly wanted to try dessert but was way too full. To say that we will be back is an understatement.

The service was really good. Very attentive servers. The food was average. The salmon was a little overcooked (pictured) and was supposed to come with a cream sauce and spinach, instead it came with broccoli rabe and some sort of spaghetti in vodka sauce. The shrimp and scallop linguine came without scallops. Once we brought that to the attention of the server, they brought out a bowl of scallops that were overcooked. The shrimp in the dish was also overcooked. The fundido was good, if not a little bland, but only came with 6 small slices of bread, some of which were untoasted, some that were over toasted, and 1 that was perfect. The fundido (which is advertised as having italian sausage in it) had exactly 3 pieces of sausage, roughly the size of a penny in the entire dish. The lasagne was very good, with lots of creamy ricotta. The tiramisu for dessert was good. LOTS of coffee soaking into those Lady fingers, which is my favorite part.

We did a lunch walk in. The service was very good. I had heard very good things and it is an interesting degree of Italian for the location. The serving are ginormous. You will not leave hungry. We got the Italian sandwich full with fries. The fries are really potato wedges and the sandwich was loaded up. The Italian salad was similarly dress but just ok. It was coupled with grilled vegetables but was fairly light on flavor. Tried both the ranch and Italian dressings and didn't care for either. The ranch was much more mayonnaise than ranch to me. The children's spaghettis and meatballs could have been an adult meal and was pretty good. Overall we got all this food for about 30$ so you can't beat the price.
