The Dinner Bell Steak & Fish

My mother and I pulled into the Dinner Bell right before their 2:00 PM closing. They welcomed us with open arms and seated us promptly. The Dinner Bell is Southern cooking, plain and simple. The prices can't be beat. They offer several daily meals with all the fixings. This was my first visit. I had the grilled pork chop, with turnip greens, or maybe it was collard greens, corn bread, green beans and creamed potatoes. All of this for around $12.00, and tea!! The food was delicious, especially the pork chop.l, as it was well seasoned with somewhat of a Cajun flair. The vegetables were what you would expect, good and simple. The cornbread was done right. I highly recommend the Dinner Bell. Our server was Libby, and she was full of Southern Hospitality.

Food was not good. Everything was extremely bland. I don't think they have salt anywhere in the kitchen. I had the country fried steak (which was barely tolerable), and it came out 10 minutes before my girlfriend's steak. The creamed potatoes and fries were so bland I couldn't eat it (and I eat a lot). The environment was hectic and loud, but not awful. Best part of the dinner was the salad bar, and the waitress was kind. Everything pointed to it being a good spot to get some comfort food, but I won't be going back.

Food is hit and miss. Always busy. Daily specials. Parking lot is always full. Service is good. Checkout is easy.

Dinner Bell always keeps me coming back. I'm from Texas who has family here in MS and no one can top Dinner Bell's catfish EVER!!! I've been to many southern kitchen restaurants and this beats all the ones in Texas and Tennessee. A home run for this place when leaving is always the great food, great service, and leaving with a full belly.

An excellent, down home, Southern-friendly place with all the Southern cuisine and fixings one can expect. A great place to stop at for a great meal if you're on your way through Corinth!

The food is really good and considering how busy this place is the service is pretty quick. This is probably my favorite family dinner place in Corinth. It is a little dark and loud but it's good.

This is not a "fancy" place. Just a big, clean room with lots of tables and chairs. But who cares? It's the food and service that count. And both were excellent. We will be back.

Wow. Every time I drive by the parking lot is packed. We we're hungry and I saw an empty spot. Very good southern style food. Professional staff, friendly. We got the plate lunch and it was excellent. At first I thought more would be better but it was just right. Excellent pork chop, fried green tomatoes, white beans and one of the top 5 slaw. Definitely going back.
