So, this restaurant is located in Palestine, Arkansas, population 660. I'm not sure there is another restaurant in town except the Subway inside of Love's truck stop. As a result, this place offers a little bit of every type of food, from fried fish to pizza (and Mexican) . The service was very fast and friendly in a laid back atmosphere. We opted for Mexican. I honestly can't say much about the food. Mostly it was just average. The flour tortillas are not house made and were barely warm, the refried beans didn't have much seasoning. That said, it's a cute little place, especially if you're not sure what you want to eat!

If you're ever in Palestine, stop by the Crazy Donkey to eat. They really produce quality, made from scratch food. The waitresses really work as a team, and will get you anything that you need!

Saw the reviews on yelp on our way back to TN. The service was really good and the food tasted fresh and hot. Good Tex mex here for sure.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on a road trip from Oklahoma to Kentucky. I chose this stop because they had a patio and I crossed my fingers that they were dog friendly. We were in luck! We had a delicious (10/10) meal, and our pups had an opportunity to get out of the car and sit with us on the patio. This was a great stop. Don't be surprised or put off by small-town Palestine if driving through. This restaurant is worth the stop!

Stopped on our way from Nashville to Oklahoma. Read the reviews on yelp and they were all positive, so we took a chance. The reviews were right! Great food, fast and yummy and clean bathrooms. Ate chips, queso, salsa, two Mexican meals and an ice tea for $27. The two gals working in the dining area were so nice! It's worth the quick stop in Palestine, Arkansas.

Food service was excellent and friendly. My kids appreciated the mild salsa. A la carte lunch soft tacos were large and super tasty. Lunch menu is VERY reasonably priced and portions generous. The place is clean and comfortable and we were just super impressed with this gem along I-40. Thank you for a wonderful lunch stop! Would definitely return.

The Crazy Donkey did not disappoint. The name drew us in and the food will make us want to come back! Must tries are the chicken fajita quesadilla and the Friday special hibachi plate. Both were delicious! It's a cute restaurant converted from an old gas station!

On a recent roadtrip, myself and 4 other companions were what some would consider to be weary travelers. We were in the midst of a journey back to Tennessee from Oklahoma and The Crazy Donkey was our chosen watering hole. We were greeted by a wonderful young man who quickly quenched our thirst with some ice-cold waters, crispy chips, and zesty salsa. We ordered off of the lunch menu; myself and another one of my fellow companions had the mixed fajitas, one had the Patriot Burrito, one had the chicken chimichanga, and one had the vegetarian fajitas. Not only was the food piping hot and brought quickly to our table; it was incredibly tasty and best value we could have asked for. The next time that we're traveling through the area, we will certainly stop by The Crazy Donkey once again in anticipation of being greeted by hospitable people and great food.

Very clean, cozy restaurant. It was great stopping here on a cold night to find a warm spot in view of their Christmas tree! Great food options which were different than most Mexican restaurants. Warm chips and salsa complimentary. Good quantity of food for the price! We had Burritos Patriot and Enchilada Delmar (nice sized shrimp). Both were excellent choices!!
