The drinks were great and the ambience was very nice. No wait staff so all drink orders had to be placed at the bar with only one bartender working . Luckily it wasn't too much of a wait. We only had drinks, no food. My husband was very pleased with the Manhattans. I had a lemon drop and a Rubber Ducky Cocktail. The rubber ducky was made with Malibu rim, creme de banana, pineapple juice, orange juice and a cute little floating rubber ducky.

Came in for happy hour...$5 wine and well cocktails. No tab, only had one round. Drinks were fine but service less than expected in a fine hotel bar. Asked for check and paid $12 tab with a twenty.....waited and waited for change. Finally had to go to bar to get it...think waitress was expecting an 80% tip!! Beware.

Our home away from filming & sleeping. TCB was our destination for daily Happy Hour 4P-7P due to the welcoming bar staff & easy priced out $5 wines/beers with complimentary bar snacks. I spent most of my time chatting with Christian, the Bartender who was working upon each of my visits. & talk about upscale accommodations, the Assistant GM Terrance, made his stop by's to ensure guests & employees alike were well taking care of. So well that he had the sister restaurant across the hall make me a huge salad with the entire garden in it as there was nothing on Bar Menu for the V Crew. I always appreciate the xtra accommodations to ensure I can partake in something besides Wine. The Peabody Hotel is surrounded by massive restaurants & bars, yet the prices & service here won us over.

This place has really went downhill. My theory is that the Peabody sends the employees that they want to fire, who already have two strikes, to this bar.The sub-par service at this place is only matched by the sub-par food.See my pictures of the sliders and "cheese plate"I recognize that the Peabody has this place as a low-cost option but, if we're going to have the Peabody name attached to it,You've got to have certain standards.I would have given them only one star, but it is a nice atmosphere and a nice view out the window

Oh i so enjoyed our stop here! From the ducks to the drinks, this is a must stop while in Memphis. The decor kept with the times the hotel was built so it is very nice. Grab your drink and head to the roof to catch great views and see the ducks in their home. Next time we go to Memphis we will stay a night here. Service is good and the prices are actually really good too. Make sure you get their signature drink so you can get their rubber ducky floating in your drink ;)

The lobby bar was packed with no seating. Beautiful atmosphere but unfortunately we had to go to the corner bar down the hall. Nothing special; radio music and a younger staff. My grandma has the blue suede shoes martini she thoroughly enjoyed and finished fast. I opted for the Tennessee mud bc it's freezing out but the coffee was blah. She tasted it and thought it was alright. On to the next adventure!

I had a good time at the corner bar, my mother has a friend that plays the guitar there on Wednesdays from 5-7pm. There was a little celebration in the piano lobby for the 120th (maybe 125th) anniversary. It was a nice crowd and they had champagne for everyone. It's a nice little classy bar, something like a hideout because it's not the first place you think about coming for a few drinks. I did the valet parking, which is 20.00. That's a little pricey but it's the Peabody so what do you expect? There are different drink specials on days of the week. I think some beers were like 2.50 and whiskey sours were like 3.00 I'm not a whiskey sour girl so I went with the Tennessee peach whiskey tea, at 16.00 per drink they were pretty good and strong. I was pleased. Oh,the entire Capriccio grill menu is available which is awesome because the Corner bar menu isn't that big. We went with the spicy Italian pizza, antapasti platter, and the cheese plate. Everything was delicious but our little table was definitely over crowded with food and drinks. It gets pretty full inside and I suggest ordering 2 drinks at a time because your waitress will probably get busy. I'm adding this place to my go to list and I'll be back soon.

I have been here a couple of times before for happy hour, and I have generally found the drinks worthwhile and the food disappointing. My most recent visit really soured me on this place. Awful bartender. Awful. That's all. Cheap happy hour but every drink the group of folks I was with ordered was awful. To make matters worse, the server was clearly new and had not been well trained. He spent most of his time chatting with the bartender rather than attending to tables. We were not given plates or napkins for our food. Perhaps this bartender will move on from the Corner Bar and things will get better (in terms of drinks).
