Great salad, great service and a decent steak. Really cool ambience with the grill out in the open where you can see the open flame.

I think this used to be a steakhouse that people raved about back in the day, but the quality has gone down in recent years. Came for dinner on a weekend. The ambience was o-k. Dim lit and quiet, but the place was pretty empty, even for a Sunday evening. Our waiter took forever to make periodic checks and also forgot to bring one of drinks and one of our appetizers. He seemed annoyed to be at work that night. Everyone at my table ordered a steak. My NY strip was supposed to be medium but it was more on the medium well side and it was pretty tough. There was nothing special or memorable about our time. If I wanna go to a local steakhouse I'll pick something else.

We had a workshop here in one of the party rooms, and it was really nice! The restaurant is spacious and clean with good lighting. There are several areas for seating, and also a patio area. We stopped by the bar and got lemon drops, and they were well balanced.The presentation came with a prix fixe menu that included salad, appetizers for the table, a main course, and dessert. The shrimp were excellent. They were tender and flavorful without being overpowering. I was expecting a little more from the steak, as it was under seasoned, but the potatoes were really good. The dessert was given to us to go, and the dessert was fine.This is a nice place for a night without the kids, celebrations, and the party rooms have plenty of space.

Yes, the food was excellent especially the 20 ounce Ribeye. The service was top of the line. Our servers were attentive and really want us to have a great experience. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was top of the line. I really enjoyed myself with the other co-workers.

Well I'm sorry to report that this has been our third visit with sub par experience. The steaks used to be excellent and the service fine. However, they have become just below average and not worth the cost. Expect to wait even if you have a reservation and they are half full. Almost comical but really just sad .

Recently, we read that this Butcher Blocker location was one of the Best Steak Houses in TN. So, we headed there for a date night dinner. We had high expectations of enjoying a great steak dinner.However, we were very upset and left before dining because this restaurant adds a 20% tip to your TOTAL Bill!!!Tipping does not bother me. Consistently, I tip 15% on food and drinks when the Server does an adequate job and 20-25% when they really do a good job. But, I NEVER tip on taxes; especial now that some Memphis restaurants are adding a 15% LTD (liquor by the drink) tax.

service was pretty good but the food was almost inedible. steak had no seasoning. had to cover with salt and pepper. and although it was cooked to an acceptable medium rare (per request), it was tough and very chewy. my boyfriends sweet potato was rotten. not burnt. it was rotten. tasted like chemicals. absolutely disgusting. the manager was great but ultimately, this is judged based off food and it couldn't have been worse. happy valentines dinner to us.

BEWARE If you have an allergy! I have a garlic allergy and the server Tony did not care and was not knowledgeable.First I ordered a salad with meal and explained my allergy, He informed me that dressings don't contain garlic. B.S. Very few don't he never checked. I then asked if steaks were seasoned with garlic and told No. after eating I was extremely ill due to an allergic reaction. TRAIN YOUR STAFF!

The ambiance, the staff, the items on the menu, the service, and the value for money call for a five-star rating.

Mediocre food and rushed service Rushed service is probably my biggest gripe. We had just started on our appetizer when our salads showed up. We were still eating our salads when our entrees showed up. The waitress literally stood there at my elbow holding my steak while I was taking bites from my salad. The steaks looked better than they tasted. My ribeye was tough and chewy like it had not been tenderized enough. My wife's Hawaiian Rib Eye was Hawaiian, I guess, because they put a slice of pineapple on it. It did not taste like it had been marinated at all. Then when got the check we saw that they were kind of enough to have already include a 20% tip. I will not be back and I encourage you to skip it. Flemings has far better food and service.
