The Blacksmith Restaurant

The place looks really nice and they have live music in the bar area. It was clean and there was no wait to go eat.The food was very good and so were the drinks. The service was fine. The waiter was a bit quirky and strange but he had a good smile and was helpful when he did come around. I'd go back again and even for a date night or event.

Food was great and so was the staff! They decorated for Christmas which made it a great environment for a family dinner.

Food seem to be predominantly, frozen and thawed, nothing seem fresh whatsoever. Very disappointing dinner experience.

The waiter was very honest about the menu when it came to the preparing of the food / seasoning. It was a great atmosphere, family friendly and of course kid friendly. I ordered the glazed salmon with potato soup and sweet potato fries. The salmon was cooked well but it needed more seasoning! My favorite was the sweet potato fries dipping them in the Carmel sauce it gave them a savory taste! I did enjoy the potato soup but I wish it was hotter!

Nice, clean restaurant, good menu, service was good, food was good, but the server brought us our check before asking us if we wanted a second drink or dessert, which I thought was odd.

It's pretty good, just nothing special. It's fairly dressed up but the food isn't what I'd call top shelf city quality. All in all bad, just not something I'd want where I live now when they have so many better options. For Dyersburg, a small town with nothing in it, it's okay. I'd still rather just go to Abe's when I'm in town. Because I live in the golden triangle of Kentucky where Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati are here, there are way way better options. So glad I'm out of that town.

I placed a phone order for the Pork Ribeye with broccolini and Brussel sprout hash. My wife ordered the salmon with a loaded potato. I picked up the food and the young girl at the counter was very nice. I got the food home and there was no loaded potato and there was only broccoli instead of broccolini. I called down to the restaurant and talked with the manager and told her the problem and that I was coming back down to pick up the items that were missed. When I got there, she apologized and gave me a gift card and a slice of cheesecake for my troubles, this place has always been so nice and kind and has done business very well. I gave them a five star because of their customer service and the quality of their food. We all make mistakes and this restaurant was big enough to own them and make it right!

Pretty good fried deviled eggs were a no go egg got a weird texture when fried. Everything was just okay.

I & friend went for lunch . We were greeted with a pleasant waiter. We both ordered same on menu. The "fall apart BarBQ baby back ribs/ " w salad& baked potato. The ribs were tough , hard to cut ! Tasted like was over cooked. Ask waiter why- ?? a manager came out said , I'm sorry, we will re order for you if you like? I said that it was very good , very tender last time I was here, several months ago, but was not this time. She then told me that th they were two days old and they warmed them up and put barbecue sauce on them is what the cook did! I said you're kidding. They're two days old. No wonder they tasted strange and we're so tough.She didn't stated that the cook was making new ones right now and they were almost done. Could she service the fresh ones we said yes. Lo and behold ! They tasted not done and were very pink inside. The cook came out to us. He said yes they were boiled and then we put barbecue sauce on them. They did not have grill Marks on them.. ( we asked why they looked not done) because we didn't put them on the grill to get grill marks and yes, they've just been boiled in a pot and barbecue sauce on them. The manager came out again and said I'm sorry that you're disappointed twice I will not charge you for any of the food. We left we will not go back.!! service was good, but the food was not. Will not go back again. Very disappointed in the food.

This place is excellent! The service was very friendly, and helpful! The menu had a large variety of food to choose from! Me and my husband both had a different appetizer he had the crawfish and alligator bites and I had the fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese, both delicious! We both had ribeyes, his med rare and mine med well, both cooked to perfection(melt in your mouth), the Brussel sprout cook perfectly! He had a locally crafted beer, Reelfoot October Fest excellent, and my Bloody Mary was awesome! So I definitely recommend this place!!
