Some of the best food in town with good, friendly service. They have a good variety of menu items and I've never had anything I didn't like

I'm from Texas and have a history of good hamburgers. I don't say that to be precocious but to let you know I know a Great Hamburger and this place has them! I was attentively waited on within seconds of entering The Basket. The restaurant is rustic and awesome! Makes me miss my old home state. Back to the hamburger. Take a look at the picture...it's perfect! I will most definitely be back! This place is now in my "favorites"!

We have visited The Basket a couple times...and Yes! Their hamburgers are Delicious! But tonight we tried the grilled chicken salad and it was Fantastic! Great toppings, fresh crispy lettuce, and flavorful grilled chicken with ranch! We also shared a grilled chicken baked potato...Wow! Delicious and so big! They are really busy and the wait was about 20 minutes but they were filling drive up /called in orders as well. I did notice that many locals called in their order before dining in...what a cool solution to a long wait! The decor is adorable with local flavor and plenty of booths and big tables for bigger groups.

The food is always prepared fresh and cooked to order. The burgers are large and juicy. Lots of choices are available if you're not in the mood for burgers and fries.Steak, fish, and hotdogs and many other choices fill the menu. Staff is friendly and usually quick.

Food is good overall. Steaks have been pretty fatty low quality cuts. But the burgers and sides have been good.

So my wife and I have been reading for quite some time (years, really) about how The Basket has THE best burgers in Tennessee.Best burgers in Tennessee? Seriously?Well, we made the drive up from Arlington, TN, on a very bleak and rainy day. The weather was horrendous. Torrential downpours. It left me with just a slight chip on my shoulder.Best burgers? I'm sure they're going to be good, but the BEST? Doubtful.Yeah...well besides eating crow, I got to enjoy a burger that was so good....SO GOOD...that I find myself quoting Barney Stinson from "How I met your mother."Barney ate a burger once that was so life changing he said, and I quote, "This burger is so good that I want to go home and sew my ass shut!"Crass? Maybe, but TRUE! Holy Hell! That had to be one of the best burgers I've had the pleasure of eating in the state of Tennessee or the state of Texas!You will NOT be disappointed if you make the drive to The Basket to try their burgers. I swear!

The food never dissipates me I love the basket but wish they be opens on weekends at least Saturday

The hamburger and fries were delicious one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. The service was great everyone was friendly. The ambiance was relaxed and had a number of different posters and paintings. It's a must stop if your in the area.

Great service and great Philly cheese steak . Stopped here randomly on the way to Nashville. Would go there again.

The burger was awesome. I highly recommend it. I enjoyed the small town atmosphere. I got the double and it was massive.
