Team Car Cafe

I like the concept - a place just off a bike line, where you can rest, fuel up and maybe even get a repair or check out your next ride. We just had a problem with the execution.This is a bike shop with a small cafe. My wife and I stopped in on a whim during breakfast recently. The offerings aren't much - mainly pastries and coffees. We ordered a coffee, bagel, milk and 'Hummingbird' cake. We had heavy cream in the coffee and it smelled/tasted off. The clerk replaced it.The Hummingbird cake was as advertised - resembling carrot cake without carrots. It had a great icing but would have been bland without it. The bagel and milk were OK.Sometimes products go bad, and this might happen more in a small place that doesn't use all its inventory in a timely manner. So, not terrible, but certainly not the 4-5 stars it's currently rated. One problem with this place is getting to it. It's more or less in the rear of a strip mall. Perhaps some signage may help.

The breakfast/brunch is consistently great! The honey hot chicken biscuit is my favorite but I've had the fried chicken tacos, cinnamon rolls, and more. My chai tea latte wasn't the greatest, but there's a wide variety of drinks to choose from. The cafe is quaint and calm. A nice spot to work while you enjoy a quick meal.

This was a super fun coffee shop tucked inside a bike shop! However, the food and drink fell through for me. Based on previous reviews, we expected to have a wide variety of breakfast options. When we arrived, however, the only food options were a variety of pastries and two breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches were dry and overpriced. The coffee was only slightly better. Perhaps the menu items we expected were seasonal? I feel bad leaving such a poor review, as the service was fast and friendly. But with so many other options in the area, I don't think I'll be visiting here again.

This coffee shop is a hidden gem in the Cordova area. It is inside the Latting Bike shop. It is located next to El Mero Taco. I had a wonderful drink made by Amy. It was the iced cinnamon dulce latte. Condensed milk with espresso and cinnamon. I had it with oat milk. Yum! I am going to visit this place more often. It was one of the stops on the Coffee Shop Hoppers event this summer. Love love this local coffee shop!

I think it's cool that you can buy a bike, and get your bike fix all while drinking coffee and eating delicious tacos. Surprisingly, it's quiet and you can get some studying done too. I ordered 3 breakfast tacos bacon, sausages, and fried chicken and of course, I had the biscoff latte.

The food and coffee here is delicious! I love the quiet and laid back atmosphere.They have a seasonal coffee menu besides the regular stuff that is fun to try.

Highly recommend. Their lattes are the best!! Absolutely love every seasonal latte they do. Probably my favorite in Memphis and the tacos are a second best, chicken and waffles are awesome and love their avocado toast

After repeated visits, I'm impressed by the consistency of taste and texture of every drink ordered. The staff is always friendly and the feel of the place is mostly comfortable if not especially warm. Very good for a short chat or knocking out a few emails while caffeinating.

A cute coffee shop tucked inside a bike shop. They have really good coffee and great customer service! The ambiance is great! I feel like it's never too loud where you can get work done but also great to come for coffee with a friend.

Cool concept of a coffee place in a bike shop!Atmosphere of the coffee place is exciting as it is in a bike place.They have really good coffee and pastries.I liked both their conventional espresso drinks and specialty drinks.Definitely a place to visit for a good coffee in the city.
