Taste of the South

We stopped for breakfast. It must've been obvious that we weren't locals to the other patrons and staff. But instead of quizzical stares, the people wanted to engage with us and make us feel at home. The staff AND the other diners. The food was awesome, the welcome made us feel like we were honored guests in the community. A totally delightful experience.

A really great diner. We came for breakfast and got exactly that. I do believe they are understaffed so please have patience They are super nice workers and they make sure you're taken care of.

Catfish was excellent but I would go back every day just for those Funnel Cake Fries!

Wonderful staff and great country cooking! We love having breakfast here. Today I called ahead and ordered a fried egg San which wirh crispy bacon and a glass of milk. They had it ready in less than ten minutes. My husband and likes their country game and scrambled egg. Their pancakes are out of this world!! They have an extensive lunch and supper menu. Meat and sides. The are known for the Fish "fry days". Great stop in a small town!

Great little resteaunt near Barkley State Park Resort, prices are very reasonable, fast and friendly service.

Wonderful! About 10 miles off of I-24 but definitely Well worth the small detour! Small quaint very Christmassy place! Great home cooking for breakfast and Great friendly service! I even took a piece of salted caramel cheesecake to go! Yum

The food was awesome and tasted fantastic. The servings were generous for a reasonable price and I definitely will coming back. The service was also very good and everyone was friendly.

The food reminds you of your mom's home cooking. It's that southern comfort food where the flavors just hit the right spot. And on top of the food the service was served with a smile and delivered promptly.
