Taqueria La Parrillada

Last year I couldn't find this place on Yelp when I drove by so I took a chance on lunch. Well the last two days some clown has been messaging me complaining that I created a second listing. Congrats - now double the visibility. I've advised how he or any other person can contact Yelp to correct but the response is whine, gripe and complain like I chiseled something in stone. I won't spend another dime here, and will actively tell others why other options should be supported.

BEST TORTAS EVER! I randomly stopped here on the way home from running an errand. I figured I'd buy just one taco and give it a shot but the moment I took that first, flavor-filled bit, I knew I was doomed to buy more. This truck is actually owned by the guy who used to have one by the same name on Summer (which I went and marked as closed now because he sold that truck). He has actually had this truck in this location for years. People usually order their tacos ahead of time or to go so he doesn't have a table though he does have a few bar stools. He says he plans to buy an awning and get a table soon. His son and wife help him run it. His son, who is currently about to go into fourth grade and who is cute as can be, helps run the register, and his wife cooks the food. And ahh she's an amazing cook. I do have to say they are also incredibly friendly. I actually ended up staying and talking with them for a bit rather than order and run. Only thing they didn't sell that surprised me was carnitas. They have most other expected types of meats available (and were totally telling me I gotta try lengua) except that one. That's ok though, as their taco al pastor is amazing I wouldn't want to order anything else. They put pina in theirs the way all my favorite places do. Also, surprisingly, I liked their chorizo taco (stole a bit from hubby's). I usually don't like chorizo but I love it here. Yum yum yummmm. Each taco costs $2 and each only comes with one tortilla (so you can eat even more). Also their salsa verde is amazing. It's thick and creamy adn so so sabroso- oops slipped into Spanish there, I mean it's so freaking yummy I'm slipping into my non-native tongue here. Their hours have changed and they are now open Wed-Sun! I submitted a new pic but don't be afraid to call and check. I got lucky that I ran my errand today and got to try them. Their item parrillada is so tasty but it's also so greasy that I wouldn't be able to eat much of it. The tortas here are the best I've ever had. The bread is top quality and they get it from a local bakery. Honestly no other tortas compare after I ate this one. All in all I am so glad I stopped by here. Got the quesadilla Cubana it was huge and very flavorful. Will come back again. Service was on point.

This place is the bomb. I and hubby discovered this gem while looking for a quick dinner spot before catching a movie show at Hollywood20. Their service is quick and food delicious. This is as authentic as it gets. I had chicken tacos and hubby asked them to make him some veggie tacos. Also orders a side of rice. Everything was perfect, the green sauce is one the best I have had. Will definitely return. Love taco trucks!!!!

Excellent. Happened to be in the area and spotted it. Ordered a steak torta $8.00-$8.74 with tax.

This place is near enough to my house that I can walk there, and I love it so much! I've never had anything I didn't like (and I've had numerous quesadillas, tacos, and the Parrillada, which is sort of a mixed grilled meat situation but is different from their Alambres). The service is incredibly quick, and the food is delicious. The hot sauces are incredibly hot in the best way possible -- the green sauce is my personal favorite. You cannot go wrong with anything here.

My wife brought me some tacos from here. I'm sad they don't sell carnitas but I like that they only have one tortilla per taco instead of two and that they really stuff their tacos full. Everything was very tasty but a tad greasy.

Tried their Torta Cubana and Tacos al Pastor at 11:00pm on a Saturday night. They were delicious and had a great amount of flavor with plenty of meat. They also have Horchata and Tamarindo Natural Water. Glad I found them!

Best burrito in town!!!! Their service is great and I love how authentic their food tastes! I may be biased because I love Mexican food, but they are the bomb!!!

Ive been eating here once or twice a week for two solid years now. It doesn't get any better or more authentic than this when it comes to chorizo. The asada and pastor is great as well!
