I cannot remember if I've been here or not, but hubby was in the area and we had him grab us some to-go. I loved it!!! To-go doesn't come with salsa and chips so I was still hungry after my standard two tacos, but once I realized why I laughed. Those chips save me money. ;) I will note that prices were a little high here at $2 a pop per taco, but considering how good the quality was that's perfectly ok. Favorites: - Pico de Gallo (comes with jalapeno)- Salsa verde- Taco al PastorOk:- Quesadilla de pollo (Mommy fav)- Taco de carnitas (hubby fav)Ehh:- Taco de chorizo (hubby fav)

10/10 best most authentic Mexican food that I've had in the south. If you like tex mex this is NOT one of those spots. Owners are from La cuida de Mexico. Posole is bomb, tacos are fire, and their tortas are perfection. Get the agua de pina, you can tell it's freshly made.

Tried this place out today at the recommendation of a friend. Very very clean and absolutely the best Mexican food I've had anywhere Everything was made to order and the people working were passionate about the place. Highly recommend.

Oustanding food! Best al pastor tacos in Memphis that I have found. Food was fresh, pineapple drink is delicious, and service is quick. The daily specials are a good deal. Would have gotten 4 stars if the tacos weren't $2.10 each. I could eat $20 worth if I wasn't careful!

This is the best place in Memphis hands down! I have eaten homemade Mexican food since I was a little kid in California! This place is as good as any legit real Mexican food anywhere!! The Carnitas are cooked in a caldron of "Manteca" (lard) over a gas flame! The tacos are made with actual "hand made" corn tortillas , fresh to order. ( ask for them with the hand made tortillas). They even have Corn tortilla quesadillas!!! The hot sauce is bomb!! Everything on the menu is good! I know Mexican food, this is the kind of hole in the wall place you find in Cali, or Texas, or Chicago! You cannot go wrong here!!! Pozole and Menudo on the weekends. Oh, FYY.. they are closed on Tuesdays

Went here on a whim. The food was o.k. but nothing "especial". The kitchen panicked when I walked in, I guess they thought I was I.C.E. here for a raid (I do look like a cop). I ordered the tacos, and it was the "poquito" size that you get at the Mexican food trucks, but at twice the price ($2.50). (And you need half-a-dozen to fill up). With so many other choices, why stop here?

The service was prompt and good. The atmosphere was lacking. The food was good, but not great. In their defense, since this was my first visit, I took the safe route and ordered chicken enchilada's. While I dined, I was able to eyeball a few other dishes, that looked fantastic (tamales and tortas). I plan to return soon, in order to give these dishes a try. Since it appeared these meals were ordered by regular's, I'm hoping they are house specialties. I will review my return visit, as soon as possible.
