Great spot, delicious cocktails, great vibe...Just wish there were not so many "hoops" to enjoy the best of this spot (like the speakeasy and cigar lounge!)

Despite the small spacing, they have worked to create a nice ambience. I love the purse holders and electrical outlets available at the booths and bar area. Parking can be a little difficult but that's not uncommon for the downtown area. On a busy night, it can be very crowded making navigation throughout slightly difficult. Overall, a great place to visit.

Bought tickets for the Union Ball. Drove up and was excited when I saw the valet sign since it was cold and raining. Waited and no valet person actually ever came. So that was disappointment number 1. Walked in and coat check was actually taking your coat, giving you a number and placing your coat on a table (NOT a coat rack). Disappointment number 2. The advertisement was for the Union Ball. However, the advertisement for performance artists were downstairs. But our table was upstairs, so we did not get any of the live performances. False advertisement. Disappointment number 3. We decided to order some food, and was informed the kitchen was closed and we couldn't order. But again, this was a special event. Disappointment number 4. I can keep going on. I will NOT advise purchasing tickets for special events here. Truth be told. I will probably decide not to come back there anymore! This was a formal event. This event served food. But they allowed a dog to come in? Again, to a formal event?

This is the spot that Memphis has been missing. An upscale environment with upscale music, people, food, and cocktails. This speakeasy has the environment and vibe that the most discerning taste will appreciate. There is a public space as well as a private area, that is a members only. In the private area, there is live entertainment as well as a cigar room.

I've been wanting to see what was all the buzz about this place. I went to a Christmas event and the place was literary jammed pack. It's very narrow and doesn't have a designated place to dance. If I wanted to dance I would've had to dance in place because it was so crammed like sardines. The music was okay. The drinks are significantly overpriced. The food options are beyond minimal. They only had two food options which were sliders and fries or wings and fries. My friend ordered the wings and they came out in about 5 minutes which probably explains why the food was very luke warm. The waiter I had was not friendly at all. There are two levels and downstairs is literary no bigger. If you're going to go for a party or event I would get a table that way you could have your own space and not standing the entire night. Once people sit at the bar THEY DONT move! I'm glad the tickets were cheap. I stayed for 2 hours or less and left. I wanted to enjoy my experience but it was uncomfortable tight, the music wasn't my jam, and I was couldn't really move around because there were so many people. I really thought it would be upscale, unique, and fun.

The atmosphere is very laid back and enjoyable if you looking for night out that's not over done. First experience with food was less than average but on my return visits it exceeded expectations. Happy hour for food and drinks are always nice and give you a chance to try something you otherwise may not try. The drinks are good. The service is good. I would recommend a visit but be sure to dress appropriately.

Will not renew my membership. This place have went down hill. It use to be classy but now it's like any other club and ppl are smoking weed there. It went from "classy" to "hood". The smoking came from upstairs and I could smell it downstairs. My husband and I couldn't get out from upstairs because of so many ppl and the weed smoke was so thick. We had to exit at the side door. Place use to be wonderful but now it's for the drug dealers.

Met up with a friend for cocktails and we chose to try Tailor's Union. Neither of us had heard much about it and we didn't know exactly what to expect. First impression was okay, but there were several disappointments during our visit. First, our waiter (who was very nice) didn't know much about the menu and kept forgetting what my friend had ordered - It was just a basic drink off their happy hour menu; nothing complicated. Then, my cosmo was unbearably sweet (even for a cosmo). They were also out of portobello and didn't realize it until after we ordered. So we both ended up with chicken and waffles, which were the best part of our visit. Finally, the decor might not be everyone's cup of tea. It's fun and bright with all the charm of a frozen yogurt bar. A good concept, but there are better spots to stop for a cocktail when downtown. Definitely not the caliber of place that has any justification to enforce a dress code.
