Tacos Los Jarochos

The taco truck is closed, but the ice cream here is the best. My son keeps begging me to bring him back. They also have popsicles made with fresh ingredients. And elote in a glass which is so yummy! I had been craving it since I left San Francisco and was happy to see it here. I keep seeing people order a huge glass of fruit that I want to try next time!

i've gone this past weekend from a recommendation by a friend and i must say this is one of the best taco stands i've had in Memphis.The food service is outside on a truck while there is a drink and desserts place right next to it. I guess they are sharing the stores parking lot together which only allows 2 spaces for customers to park then. We had to park next door which was a cash loan place but we got it to go. they have an outdoor patio seating thats semi covered which will fit about 6 tables i think that can accommodate 4 ppl each. The ice cream/drink store right next door can accommodate around 20-30 ppl inside which is air conditioned. i've seen ppl order and go inside to eat since it is a bit hot outside now. One major plus thing is they do take credit cards.My friends and i had ordered 2 orders of the steak tacos which came 3 to an order. It came with all the fixings, onions, cilantro, onions, lime. they also gave you some sauces that you can top with, we chose the extra spicy one which had a good kick but wasn''t overpowering. The steak was cooked just right where it was still juicy and not dry like some other places and the tacos were heated just right as well. i wish i had captured some photos but my phone had died that day. Can't wait to try some other dishes from them next time.

This place is awesome! the tacos are great. My favorites are the chicken and the chorizo! Authentic served with onion, cilantro, some green salsa and lime. This may be a weekly stop for me since it is right around the corner. DELICIOUS!

I absolutely LOVE this taco shop! Their street tacos are classic and perfect, but their dessert... YUM! They make the tastiest sundaes! My favorite is ice cream with condensed milk, fruit syrup, and LOTS of fresh fruit (mango, pineapple, raisins, apple, banana) and nuts. It's something I had never had until coming here and I'll keep coming back!

Excellent food. Big burritos, delicious tacos, and big big maxi quesadillas are all wonderful. Order at the food truck then pay inside while you wait on everything to be cooked.

This taco tour is wonderful now I see why the taco trucks stay so crowded the food is delicious even with a line they were very quick and efficient....

This was the third and last place on the Taco tour for me and I thought the tacos were pretty good. I liked that the truck was connected to outdoor seating. I thought that was nice touch. Also too place an order I had to order 3 tacos. So I ordered three different tacos (chicken, steak and chirozo). Each taco was $1.50 a piece, not a bad deal since they tasted pretty good. I would go back and try the other items on their menu.

We decided to try this place since it is closer to our house than La Michoacana. We will drive the extra few minutes next time.We walked in to an extremely strong smell of cleaners, which does not make you want to eat anything. It was so strong that the girl behind the counter was coughing.All this aside, we ordered two Popsicles, cookies & cream and mango lime. We began to drive home and realized the mango lime tasted disgusting. Like vinegar or something weird. We've had this flavor before elsewhere so I don't think it was our palate.It was so bad that we decided to go back and exchange it. My husband went in and the girl behind the counter was getting ready to exchange it when a women by door informed the girl that there were no returns. Mind you, we weren't trying to get our money back, just exchange it for something that actually tasted as it should. My husband is not one to argue, so he paid for another one and left. We will definitely not go back.

Now have a permanent spot for the truck and an ice cream shop attached. Still ok but nothing to write home about. Just OK. We had several different tacos. Most were excessively greasy and were nothing too special. I live where it's not a far drive to hit Summer or Macon and its my opinion that there are better tacos available on both streets. I would really say 2.5 stars.

I have always seen this truck sitting in front of the Exxon gas station on the way home and wondered how their food tastes. Boy, am I glad I stopped by last night to give it a try. I decided to get a taco with each meat offering - chorizo, chicken and steak. Their tacos are sooo tasty!!! I was in awe of how much flavor I received from the very simple ingredients they use to make their tacos. I enjoyed the chorizo the best. I also tried their chicken quesadilla (small) and so called street corn. The chicken quesadilla was full of cheese and flavor and did not disappoint but the so called elote (mexicorn) was a let down. It was corn from a can topped with mayo, shredded cheese and some spices on top inside of a plastic cup..yuck. It was definitely not the corn on the cob cheesy goodness you get when you order good Elote. I will be returning for those tacos and quesadillas tho!!! I recommend everything except the corn lol.
