Taco Rio

Place has been a staple for awhile. Sometimes you just need that Rio. You need those taco burgers. Whatever that cheese is that they give you with the chips, I need to know. I'm sure it comes from a can, but I need to know because I'm addicted.

Updating my review. Gotta be 5 stars when I drive 45min just to get 79 cent tacos on Tuesday. This stuff is oddly addictive.

Local stable. Consistently delicious. Never had a bad meal. It's all soGood. My fav is the burrito dinner Meat and bean burrito covered with chili and cheese, beans, salad, and chip and dip. Tacos are great. Good kids meals that come with a cookie. Love this place. Service always good. Been coming here for about 30 hrs.

I thought I was going to find an authentic little hole in the wall but it's far from that. The food was ok though . chicken nachos are like what you could make at home in your kitchen. Beef taco was good. I liked their hot sauce. More like eating at a church kitchen on Mexican food night. Complete with a prayer corner. Very Arkansas-ish

This use to be a normal spot to eat. I moved to Colorado for 7 years and just moved back to Arkansas. I visited Taco Casa hoping it would be just as good as remembered. They did not disappoint. Great Food. Their Meat Nachos is the best.

I'm updating my review because as many times as I've eaten here, I obviously like it and I think it know deserves a 4 star review. I love the thin, crispy chips. I really enjoy the bean burrito. I just saw that they have street tacos now, which I will HAVE TO TRY. I wonder what their version of a street taco is...? I love the hard shell tacos. Yum. With the hot sauce. The salad that comes with the dinners have a Catalina type dressing on them, which is great. Taco Rio is definitely unique because I've never been to another place like it. It's the most American taco place ever. You'll have to eat here to know what I mean.

Saw mixed reviews, and decided to give it a shot. This is the worst example of a Mexican restaurant I have ever seen. Although signs say all is fresh, very little actually tasted fresh at all. The food was not terrible, but it was not great either. And it definitely was not a truely Mexican meal. There are many better options locally. If you are not looking for a great Mexican meal, and just want cheap food, this may be a good option. The single redeeming factor.... Cheap!

For the location it was the only real choice. Togo portions were small but the chili and chicken tacos were good.

I simply love this place. I found it while going a private school in Arkansas. It's a fast food style diner with booth and table seating. It's located in a strip mall that's been around for decades! I recommend getting tge taco burger! If you don't your loss. I was just telling my hubby tonight that I wanted to drive over just to get a couple of taco burgers. He's in for a treat when we do!

Definitely NOT Mexican food. Nothing ethnic or authentic about it, unless you are talking about local southern home cooking. Very bland, no hint of Mexican to any of the dishes we tried. The "meat" was barely identifiable, the crumbly texture appeared to be ground beef, but the grayish color and lack of any kind of flavor made it questionable. Everything tasted either old are fabricated, nothing fresh or tasty in anything we tried. Will not go there again and will discourage anyone else from visiting!
