First off, the service was wonderful. Clearly, the ladies working here know what they are doing, and they make you feel at home.I had the corn dog, which had a great batter on it. My salad came in a nice sized bowl, with tomato, cheese, and hard-boiled eggs. It was topped with fried chicken but the coating on the chicken was thinner than I expected. Still tasty though. The rest of the table had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and Texas toast. The Texas toast could have used some butter. The batter on the chicken fried steak was perfectly done, light and crispy. Everyone at the table raved about the gravy.Sweet tea was...really sweet. I had the unsweetened tea, which i enjoyed. They offer a half sweet and half unsweet mix if you ask for it. I had the buttermilk pie, which is basically a chess pie. It was one of the best chess pies I've had on this trip.Bathrooms were super clean, which is important to me.Bottom line, this is southern comfort food, done right. Highly recommend if you're ever out this way.

Came for the first time and had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes finishing up with the banana pudding. Super friendly staff, inviting, friendly and everyone there was having a great time. The food was amazing and I wish I'd known about this spot a couple of weeks ago. It will become a go to.Came back for breakfast. Eggs sausage and biscuits and gravy. Best biscuits I've ever had!!
