Sweet Tea & Biscuits Cafe

I've had lunch at the restaurant once and have been to a catered brunch and a catered lunch. I am just not a fan.At the restaurant, I had the vegetable plate. I found most of them overcooked and mushy and none of it was particularly flavorful. I much prefer Romies or Aunt Bees here in town, both of which do southern veggies more to my taste.For the brunch, I had a flavorless quiche. I'm not particularly a quiche fan, but I can enjoy it if it has a lot of green and is appropriately seasoned. But this was just like eating a big bland egg and I abandoned it after a couple of bites. The tiny little biscuits were unremarkable and the bacon was just thin grocery store variety. The lunch chicken salad sandwich was just as bland - all I could taste was mayo.I'm sure it's great for some people. Their presentation is very kitschy and cute and appealing to the cucumber sandwich crowd, I'm sure. I'm just not the intended audience.

It was an amazing little stop driving home from Florida. The staff was so sweet and caring and the food was delicious too. That Fried Green Tomato BLT is one of the best things we ate on the entire trip. I had the veggie plate and it was delicious too. The desserts were all amazing, I couldn't decide so they gave me a small slice of two different cakes to try - Strawberry and Italian Creme and they were both delicious, but I think the strawberry was the slight winner.

Very good food! Southern comfort at its best! The ladies do a great job! Get there early for a choice of all the goodies and a good table! A bit crowded on table space and sometimes feel like you're on freeway while you're eating! So earlier is better for spot! Fun place to have lunch and shop!!!!!

Great vegetable plate and such great ambiance, just like eating at your grandparents on Sunday after church. Will definitely be back

Glad I decided to give this place a try because of the cute name. Also a boutique where you can shop, I was so overwhelmed with all the things to look at I didn't purchase anything else. Must Trys- Buttermilk Pie and Strawberry Cake.The chicken salad sandwich was great but the pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes blt was terrific!!!!

I love Sweet Tea and Biscuits in Tupelo, Ms .... The choices on the daily specials are like eating Momma's cooking...I love the choice's offered of a hot lunch, Vegetable plates, quiche of the day or the daily homemade soups...I had never eaten buttermilk pie until Iordered a slice at Sweet Tea.. The cashier asked me, if I would like it warmed... I said sure!!!! Oh, my goodness, it was so wonderful... Keep up the good job Sweet Tea...

Excellent lunch! Food was delicious, piping hot and took me back to my grandmother's kitchen. We will definitely be back!

This could not have been a more delightful experience. We stopped on our cross country road trip and I would go out of my way to return. Food was amazing...everything we got was fantastic and loved by the kids and adults. They could not have been more welcoming. Great marketplace, too. Highly recommend!

For those who have not been here, this is the hidden gem of Tupelo! Shopping and wonderful food all under the same roof. The food is excellent. The staff are all friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very relaxing & comfortable. They also do amazing catering, and have pre-prepped meals you can take home and finish in the oven.
