The owner, Tony, is a genuine pillar of the community that has been giving back for so many years now. Before the new decor renovation, he used to have so many photos up of customers that he would invite as guests and host them and their families because they were suffering from illnesses like cancer.Food: The food is a wonderful fusion-style menu that's quality is far outweighed by its price point. The sushi is really fresh too. In fact, Toni is usually the one preparing it for you! Great portions as well.Service: Always attentive, nice and polite.Ambiance: Straightforward and clean restaurant and decor.

I ordered takeout from Sunset like I have many times before. it was a very large order. One family member started eating his fried rice and said it tasted like dirty dish water. I said that's really rude it can't be that bad. then I took a bite of my fried rice and I apologized to him because he actually had a pretty apt description. there was a weird smell and the taste was musty and not something I have ever experienced in fried rice. I since looked it up to see what the issue was. it could have been made in advance and improperly stored. It could be old rice. it could have been stored with something that went bad and absorbed the smell. Other family members tried the sushi and said one of the rolls had bad fish and another had the weird issue with the rice. Maybe the restaurant ordered too much going in to the holiday and the fish went off and the rice half prepared and left in the cooler absorbed the bad smell? Maybe their sink needs a water filter, or they used old rice. I really don't know. but a $300 sushi order went into the garbage. I've never had to do that before in my life but no one wanted to take a chance by tasting the rest of the rolls.I tried to email sunset sushi using their email from their website and it bounced back to me. I can't remember ever leaving a bad review for a restaurant but this was really unacceptable. I have to wonder what the kitchen looks like for them not to notice the rice smell. it's not something I will soon forget

this place is infested with roaches and the last time we went they had a fingernail in the rice.

Wife wasn't feeling too great, so decided to grab her some Pho. Some buddies of our told us about this place, gave it a try, and now I won't grab Pho from anywhere else. Genuinely that good. I'm not much of a Pho guy, and I could eat this everyday.And this place ain't even a Pho place.I did order a Beef Pad Thai, and those may have been some of the best Pad Thai I've ever had.And on top of all this, super friendly customer service, and such a cool vibe on the inside.Absolutely coming back.

The best Asian food I have had in Tennessee. Miso soup, beef pad Thai, rolls all delicious.

Great sushi and curry. King cobra is my favorite roll, spicy but oh so good. The poke bowls are very fresh. Staff are great, lots of parking available.

This was an unusually busy place and I understand why it's because the food was fantastic. I am pretty sure the people working there were the owners and they were super nice and I would come back in a heartbeat next time I'm in town also - they had gluten-free soy sauce, and as someone with celiac, anything gluten-free is awesome and I think them for knowing a little bit about this, too.

This place is a hidden gem! Great, cozy atmosphere and delicious dishes and sushi! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Tony the owner is awesome!

Best Thai in Franklin! Tony, the owner is the BEST! He greets you every single time with a hearty hello! They make us feel like family every time we are there. All of the Thai meals are amazing. Don't miss the Pho- it's truly so good. Sushi is great too. The visit always ends with Tony's "See you tomorrow!" on the way out the door
