Sunflower Cafe and Grill

We ordered a Philly Steak and Cheese and a Club Sandwich. Food was good. However, I suggested you order from the pre cooked buffet. Our sandwiches were taking a while to be served. They kept apologizing saying it would not be long. Our sandwiches took 50 minutes to arrive after ordering. Probably won't go back since a sandwich is not worth the wait.

I would call this a "hole in the wall " place. Very popular with the locals. Good value for plate lunch. Lots of people coming in for take out. Not a lot of seating for dining in. We ordered sandwiches, a blt and a philly. Took a little while to get but arrived hot and delicious. The tomato on the blt tasted home grown. Everything was fresh and yummy. Service very friendly. Highly recommend.

Food is very good, good southern food is hard to come by in Grenada. This place is very busy so if you plan to eat here You Must Go Early.

Home cooking at its finest. Places like this are hard. Meat and three for $7.50 with tax. A plate FULL of food. Deserts are $2 or substitute a veggie for cobbler The food is seasoned and cooked like home. Not just warmed up canned food. I loved it and will 100% be back.

As far as price, it is not bad at all for lunch. The food is ok, not bad. The one thing that I did not like about this establishment were the inconsistent portions. The one thing that really bothered me was the inconsistency in the size of the portions from customer to customer. The portions I received were very small, but sitting close to the food bar, I saw others getting much larger portions, more than double the size of mine. That was really disappointing as we are all paying the same price. The service was good , maybe too good, because the waitress was told within my earshot and the customer she was talking to to end her conversation and get to work. Sadly, the customer service would be the only thing that would bring me back into this restaurant.

I love this place! They have great food. It's the perfect little cafe for lunch. They have a great atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff.

The food was excellent here. Good 'ole down home cooking buffet. I had baked Mac'n cheese, green beans ( well seasoned), mashed potatoes, cornbread and peach cobbler. My husband had BBQ chicken, Lima beans, turnip greens, cornbread and peach cobbler. They bring your drink out to you and we had to flag a girl down to get it after waiting a few minutes. They were pretty busy. Nothing fancy inside and had to sit down at the end of a table with a man. Turned out good. He was a Christian and we had great conversation. Would recommend this little place.

Food is very good. I have ordered the lunch plate and from the menu, everything I have tried is very good. Southwest eggrolls, fried chicken salad, and the lunch plate. Very large portions. Enough to save half your lunch for dinner! Very good pricing as well. These places are hard to come by. This is a hidden gem!
