Sugar Shack Drive In

Delicious and always good service. Plus their ice cream is sooo good. Always love stopping by to grab a bite.

I love the classic diner atmosphere. Burgers are great, fish is great and the ice cream is a great value. I would have given them a solid 5 stars but the wait time has gotten a bit long the last few times that I have eaten here. But the food remains good so I suppose that it is worth the wait. Just don't go in if you are in a hurry.

Sugar shack I nice place in my hometown. I probably go here once or twice a month. It's a good place to hang out with some friends or family the foods good and the ice cream is amazing with there 45+ flavors but the wait is a long one anywhere from 10-25 minutes. Went through the drive the wait was a little to long. But after it all it was still amazing ice cream. ( peanut butter with chocolate vanilla shake )

Will always support this place because it's my home town. Sure it's more expensive than McDonald's but you're supporting small business and a great town. They have good ice cream, clean and great hot food too.

It's too bad Barry had a bad experience when using the restroom. I agree the employee should have approached him differently or they just need to post a sign on the restroom. But unless the rudeness or lack of good service from an employee is just really extreme, generally I prefer to rate a place based on the overall experience including the food, value and ambiance. If you like an old time hamburger diner type place that has an extensive sandwich menu, a ridiculous number of shake flavor offerings (35+?), reasonably fast service and unbelievable prices, then the Sugar Shack is the place for you.

Extremely overpriced and bland. Your wait time is outrageous, but the staff is nice. I guess they can afford to hike the prices up since there's no competition. I'd still recommend the 15 minute drive to Sonic instead

I tried to eat at the Sugar Shack in early December, but was treated rudely and left. I had just finished a 35 mile bicycle ride, and needed to use the bathroom before ordering and eating. Unfortunately, as soon as I entered the restaurant, a middle aged woman stopped me and told me "Sir, we do not have public restrooms!" without asking whether I intended to eat. I own a small business myself, and I understand that you have to protect yourself against being taken advantage of. I don't have a problem with them not wanting to serve as a rest stop if they have have had problems in the past with people abusing their hospitality.But I do have a problem with restaurant staff aggressively letting potential customers know that they will be assumed to be deadbeats until proven otherwise.When I told the woman I intended to eat lunch, she told me to go ahead and use the bathroom, but I opted to leave instead. I prefer to patronize businesses that want my business, not businesses that treat me like a potential pariah.I would encourage them to reconsider how they welcome customers to your restaurant. Most restaurants find "How may I help you", "what can I do for you", or "welcome to our business" to be a pretty effective way to greet customers. Maybe I just caught the staff having a bad day. I've eaten in the restaurant before, and found it to be a pleasant and friendly establishment. But after the treatment I received today, I doubt I'll be back any time soon or recommend it to any of my friends.FWIW, I sent this in a message to their Facebook page and never got a reply. I can only assume customer service is no longer a priority.

Would love to leave a review, however, I've come two times before 8:00 in the last 3 days to find that you're closed. Your hours are clearly listed as the drive thru being open until 8. Super disappointing.

For a lil town, this place has some good food. Classic American fast food. I really like the blended ice cream, because they don't skimp on the candy. Oreo is my fav.
