Steak Escape Collierville

Its been years since eating Steak Escape but this wuz just as I remembered. Claude ham mercy it was delicious..beyond satisfying. I mean the quality of the the sandwich and fries took me back. Most establishments change up and have you missing the old menu.. well they absolutely have a new menu ,more accommodating to new diets such as wraps, salads, low carb but they have the traditional steak esacpe menu.. nah, I'm wondering if I can incorporate a sammach or sum what I leave the gym.. workout just to eat

Love this place, especially since they've gotten my order correct the past 2 times. Good bowls & fries too. Definitely recommend for a good, quick sandwich or bowl.

First time here! Another great yelp find while traveling! The new cheesesteak with whiz is about as close as you will find to south phillys great spots. Great fries and service too

Aye man i have to stay away from this spot or I'm going to be 400lbs. As someone who's had Philly Cheesesteak from great spots in South Philly these are the best in Colly Ville. I wish they had the pepper oil and cheese whiz but overall pretty good steak. Also they pack fries in the bag like 5guys which is dope.

Being that i'm critical when it comes to certain foods like Cheesesteaks Bierocks or Italian. I'm very critical for the reason that. I'm not a fan of imitators when it comes to a chain or a local place that tries to sell me off on some half assed version of a regional or ethnic dish. I want the real deal. Being I lived up north & grew up on real Philly Cheesesteaks I've always been skeptical. But a league buddy & classmate of mine from Philly convinced me to try this place telling me it's like what I've grown up on back home & they make some wicked good fries.So on his word alone I decided to try Steak Escape out. The next day I came in for my very first visit to Steak Escape. I noticed that the store was clean & spotless. The cashiers up front were friendly & eager to take my order so I looked up at the menu & said I wanted Cheesesteak 16in with fries. The chef promptly took my order & started cooking my steak & dropping the fries with fast percision. When my order came out I was very impressed. The presentation of my meal was awesome & looked like the real deal I was use to since I was a kid. now the real question is. Does it taste like the real deal? So I took a bite into my hot piping fresh Cheesesteak & I was impressed with it's taste. It came very close to the real deal & they get very big props for that. The cut fries lets just say I was smiling & wanting a 2lb order to go. They are the most killer fries when mixed with malt vinegar.I will be coming back in the future for many more visits & recommending to any friends or northern transplants that I meet. This is a solid place to grab a quick bite while you're in the area. The fries were great & you can tell they were made from real fresh potatoes and hand-cut. You can add seasoning salt to it to your own preference like I did. I don't normally get cookies at sub restaurants but I'm so glad I did because this chocolate chip cookie was delicious - very chewy & I got it when they were just made fresh. I got the grand escape which is similar to a Philly cheesesteak - added pickles and mayo to it. The workers were very nice and accommodating to my order when I asked for substitutions to my sandwich. COVID related - many tables were removed to accommodate for social distancing and there was always a worker cleaning the tables after every dine-in customer. Drink station and restrooms were also very clean. There is a plastic barrier between where you order and the customer & all the workers were wearing masks. I felt very safe being in this restaurant.

Second time here and it's as good as the first time. That sandwich is filling and flavorful. The bread is out of this world. The loaded fries are good too. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Steak escape is a gem of a restaurant.. one of the few that still serves food hot and made to order. Today my son and I were out school shopping and decided on Steak Escape for lunch. I ordered the 6" Ragin' Cajun chicken sandwich and he had the 9" Triple Steak sandwich. We had fries and drinks as well. That's important to know as their items are rung up separately and not as a meal or combo. Also, you have to specify what condiments you want on your sandwich. Our total came to a little over $34.I didn't mind that because the food is always delicious. The establishment is always clean (as a matter of fact-when we went I today, one of the workers was actually on a ladder wiping down walls and cleaning other hard to reach areas).This is a "must try" for those who haven't.

A rare freestanding location! In my opinion, they make a perfect cheesesteak. Fresh squeezed lemonade and fresh cut fries round out the sandwiches nicely. Just like the mall food!

On Sunday 2-24-24 I ordered two Bourbon cheese steaks with peppers. When I got home both sandwiches had mayo and tomatoes on them that I did not request. It ruined the sandwiches. I did not call that time. Tonight I reordered two sandwiches but when I got home there was only one in the bag. When I called the owner answered the phone. She kept talking to others without putting me on hold, very annoying. When I told her I only got one sandwich I was told they saw the receipt said two but the new system only said one. Instead of checking with me they only made one sandwich. On the phone she was very curt and never apologized. She acted as if refunding my order made everything alright. I was in shock that she was so rude. When I told her she was being rude she started talking over me saying I dont know how I am being rude very loudly. I believe her, she has no clue what customer service is. They have ruined our dinner twice in a week but as long I get a refund I should be happy. This place no longers cares about the customer! We use to go there once a week but now I will never go back. If you do check your order by opening your sandwich.
