Stanfield's River Bottom Grill

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally got the opportunity. The restaurant is located on the river so it does provide some ambience and scenery.There is both indoors and outdoors dining, I sat at the inside bar for dinner. They have a full bar, craft beer selections are very limited as they are mostly serving cheap, domestic swill.I asked the bartender what entrée was one of the more popular and she said that the burgers were great and that "Shrimp Happens" was also popular. I ordered the Shrimp Happens and it was fine, but basically a fried shrimp basket with one grilled shrimp skewer. Also comes with two hush puppies, which were chalk dry and tasteless, and thimble of coleslaw. The coleslaw was pretty good for the two bites that was served. I also ordered a side of their potato salad, this was good but a little overly seasoned.I got a slice to-go of the recommended Keylime pie. When I had it later in the evening, mush to my disappointment, it was absolutely horrible! It had the consistency of and tasted like a softened brick of cream cheese. It was downright terrible and after two bites I threw it away. Hopefully this was just a bad batch because I don't know how they could sell one slice of this.They were well-staffed and service was good. I may give it another chance with a burger sometime, but overall this was simply a "meh" experience.

Great location and atmosphere. The food is always food and service is always friendly. We love having dinner outside there's just not many tables soMakes the wait super long on busy nights. They have some great appetizers.

This place is amazing, they always make sure you get everything you ask for. Service is quick, and food is good. I went today with my mom and had a wonderful experience with Lauren D, she was our server and she did an excellent job.

The experience was great the food was awesome and the workers were top notch we will be back!!

Really good food. Packed on Saturday night but space at the bar to eat. Had the boil with shrimp, crab, sausage, potatoes and corn. More than I could eat. Wife had a filet and shrimp. She said the steak was delicious. Lady bartender provided great service.

Perfect place to stop by! Very good, friendly, and fast service. Waitresses were very sweet and accommodating. We had the crab boil and a variety of drinks and beers, all amazing and cooked perfectly. We sat up on the balcony outside and it was so nice. Great for kids, they have a little machine where you can purchase fish food and throw it to the fish in the marina and there were a lot of fish!!

Do not order fried oysters! I was there 11/4/23 and got the oysters. Had bad food poisoning which kept me down for two days. I learned the next day that two others at the marina got sick from the fried oysters as well.

Causal dining in the water. Good was excellent!! Had butterfly shrimp, baked potato, and corn. Great taste.
