I got the chicken and pancakes. The chicken was good but the pancakes were just ok. There definitely wasn't enough syrup but I figured I'd use what I had at home with the leftovers. The only issue was that the leftover pancakes really didn't taste that great the next day. They only tasted ok while I was eating them anyway. But my husband's strawberry shortcake pancakes were delicious. I would definitely get those again but not the plain pancakes.There were a lot of things I wanted to try so I know I'll be back a few more times to try them out! I seem to like their specialty pancakes the most so I'll definitely be trying more of those. I don't seem to be liking any of their appetizers so I will try to avoid those in the future. Really enjoyed the diner feel of Staks and the service was on point. The servers and hostess were very attentive and followed up with status on orders to ensure we knew what was going on. The cinnamon roll latte was the best latte I have ever had! It tastes just like a cinnamon roll from Cinnabon. The breakfast burger was a lot of food, but very satisfying.

My family and I went here on May 11th, 2024. The restaurant was very busy when we got there, so we had to wait a little bit on the wait list. Once we was notified that it was our turn to be serve the hotress told us what our table number was, and we went to the counter to order our foods. When we sat down and waited for our foods I just noticed how beautiful and clean the restaurant is. I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes and Candied Bacon. It was my first time trying Candied Bacon and I was so surprised how good the brown sugar goes with the bacon. The Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes was just freaking amazing. It will remind you of eating a regular strawberry shortcake.

Set an expectation based on the website which they immediately FAIL to meet upon arrival. We checked the waitlist online because we like the food here, but we're in a hurry. It shows a Zero min wait, Tables Available Now. Well when we arrived they told us there was a 20+ minute wait. So I asked if this just happened because the website says 0min. I was told: "Oh yea. That's not right. It's based on an iPad system that we don't use". What a FAIL! Expectations Set and Not Met.

The food is great. The specialty drinks (coffee, cappuccinos..etc) Are GREATLY over priced. The food is very expensive.. but good. I wouldn't go all the time. Only because of how expensive it is. Everyone was happy with the taste of their food. and portion size was huge. Hard to finish it. Maybe if I don't eat dinner the night before..and go for brunch.. maybe I could finish the food. The restaurant is VERY cute inside. I love the traditional soda fountain. We sat outside.. it was such a nice day.The service was good

The WORST protein pancakes I have ever had in my life!! First, they were thin as paper (see pic), therefore they were dry as drywall (see pic) and they tasted grainy and horrible. One would think that for the price, the food especially the pancakes "Staks" would be of better quality and taste. I get better tasting and quality pancakes @ IHOP & in my own kitchen than here. Sorry, does NOT represent the name period!!
