St. Leo Lounge

I can't believe I've never done a review here. But here goes. We are from Atlanta and have lots of fabulous restaurants. This was likely my tenth time to visit St Leo's. I'll start with this visit. New item on menu-- roasted Brussels on chili oil and truffle mayo. These were crispy flavorful and a five star item. Would get these every time. We also got the pizza sausage pepperoni and speck and added hot honey. This was very good. Was it better than our atlanta brick over restaurant pizzas ? No. But it was the best dinner item I have had here. Cocktails. Amazing bartenders who know their business. They are willing to make it to your specific requests. Five stars. Old visits. White beans. Just terrible. Enough said. Pastas: good not great and very small portions. Caesar: we are super picky Caesar critics and this one was below average. Wouldn't order it here ever again. Never been greatly impressed by their food. Atmosphere and cocktails YES! Food, sadly NO.

Lots of locals I know love this spot while I've just found it to be mediocre to good. For the Oxford, MS area I would rate it as good but I never had anything I would rate as great. The service has always been perfectly acceptable other than on home game weekends when everywhere gets insanely crowded. The drink prices are like most places around the Oxford Square these days which means rather overpriced. This is just another spot that makes me miss the older days of Oxford when the square was a lot more fun and a lot more affordable.

The atmosphere is delightful! We sat at the bar because it was a 45 minute wait for a table and I'm so glad we did. Our bartender/service was awesome! Best Old Fashioned I've had in a while! To start we tried the White Beans and The Crab Toast - our son loved the White Beans and my husband and I weren't crazy about either. My husband had the Chopped Salad which was good, son had the Pepperoni, Sausage & Speck Pizza which was very good. I ordered the Spaghetti Al Limone with grilled chicken which was good - I think I was expecting more flavor, but it was good. Would absolutely go back.

Ambiance is comforting and relaxing and the service is amazing!! Started off light with the Burrata, it's definitely a must try. Ordered the Mezzi Rigatoni pasta as my entree and it was so rich and flavorful, it didn't need any protein. Paired it with a Margherita Pizza with pepperoni. The main reason I keep coming back is the brick oven style pizza, not very many places offer this and I'm willing to go out of my way for it.

5 star place. It's perfection. I'm the hardest critic when it comes to pizza or even restaurants in general. For St Leo to win me over really says something. The prosciutto pizza is just like it is in Italy. HEAVENLY!The Prosecco pop is DELICIOUS & so cute & flirty. The restaurant itself transports you to NYC (hard to do in Mississippi) The wait staff is always so sweet also. 10/10 recommend that St Leo be your first stop in Oxford.

When St. Leo, the restaurant, is crowded this is where you wait. It's a lounge. An upscale bar with good drinks, a modern/nice vibe, and good snacks. Whether you're waiting to go eat at St. Leo or need a good place to chill and have a few nice drinks with friends. The lounge is the place. Bar tenders are very sociable and make the experience great. Very simple but modern atmosphere.

the food is great, as are the drinks!the host on the other hand are completely rude . they have no consideration for anyone other than parents or elderly.

Our server was fantastic, but the sommelier, Lacie, was an absolute nightmare. Rude, arrogant, and clearly on a power trip, she treated us like we were beneath her. It's a shame that such great food and stellar service from the waitstaff are overshadowed by a sommelier with zero respect for customers. If you're paying these prices, you shouldn't have to put up with that kind of attitude. Go if you must, but skip the wine--unless you enjoy being talked down to by someone with a serious attitude problem.

U want Logan Little (the saint leo manager) to give me away at my wedding. the pizza, drinks, appetizers, EVERYTHING IS AMAZING. we love this place and all the people so so much. you NEED to come here.XOXO - The mafia

We had a wonderful dinner tonight. Our cocktails were excellent, and the food was delicious. Our server was so friendly and provided a great experience. It is a MUST when in Oxford. To top off, the night my husband left his credit card and another server chased us down to make sure he got his card back!!!TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE
