Sr Jose Mexican Restaurant

Well, this Mexican restaurant just recently opened. I can't believe I'm the first to review it. Anyway, it is basically a new restaurant here in Leland, MS. I was impressed. I had great customer service. The food was great. I had the Sr Jose Combo. This menu item was given to me in generous proportion. So much so, that I could not eat all of it. I had to get a to go plate.They have basically a book for a menu. Anyway, I will be coming back because I see some other menu items I want to try.

I love it here. The drinks and food are always good. The only bad experience was on Cinco de Mayo, due to the restaurant being really packed.

Hands down THE BEST Mexican food in the MS Delta!!! Friendly, professional wait staff is eager to serve you and the food is phenomenal!! The interior and exterior of the restaurant are absolutely gorgeous with bright colorful artwork. Also, the beautifully painted fence pays homage to the history of Leland and the MS Delta.

This place has recently been remodeled! When I say the wall paintings were by hand, I spoke with the person painting the building! It is beyond beautiful! Well lit, great atmosphere, fast accurate service, the margaritas are bomb! I love this place!

Dining is always great. However this is the 3rd time my to go order has been WRONG. I made a point to order 4 soft chicken tacos with cheese and lettuce and a chicken soup -not the taco soup which was the last mistake. But see picture for my chicken soft taco with lettuce and cheese.
