Square Pizza

I love square pizza. I go here every time I'm in the square... just two type of pizza - cheese and pepperoni. It's hot , cheesy , and a fun time. The owner is super nice and cool to chat with, sometimes they are super busy so make sure you are there before they run out!!!

Rude! I believe that this establishment hired the ONLY unfriendly person in Oxford. Pizza was ALMOST as bad as the service. Do yourself a favor.. go elsewhere.

There are many places in this world to get a mediocre slice of pizza. This is one of them, it's just in square slices here which doesn't make it taste any better. This place is conveniently located on the square next to the Lyric, so I decided to try a slice of pizza after seeing a show. Quite disappointing. The slice cost me $4 and was not particularly tasty. Just about an average slice of pepperoni pizza. And there is very little seating inside the restaurant (although the inside is decorated nicely). There are many better places to get a late night snack, and there is certainly better pizza in Oxford.

AMAZING SERVICE!!! Ranch was only a dollar! 2 ranches! Service was top tier! Definitely recommend for all your pizza needs! They sell by the slice!!!

We grabbed pizza here after a football game. They were speedy and the pizza hit the spot!

The pizza was bad the service was bad the place was dirty I heard it was a guy from NY that opened it I hope that's not true He needs to go back and learn how to make NY pizza A great spot it can be so much better I will try again when I go back I hope I just had a bad day

Square pizza is not good, showing what happens when a business puts profits over product. For starters, the owner seems to think that he has a premium product, that demands a premium price. The issue stems from the product, a subpar, soggy, sickening excuse for a pizza. I'm willing to admit that their are different pizzas for different people. However, this slop is a crime against pizza. I'm genuinely curious how anyone can find this lukewarm garbage appetizing. I firmly believe that if it wasn't for the location of this business it would've failed within weeks. If you are charging $4 for a slice cheese pizza, it should knock peoples socks off. I understand people have to make ends meet, but this it is down right foul to have a mediocre slice cost $4. It's a wonder that the only time this place is legitimately busy is when the bars kick everyone out for the night. You would have to be practically blackout to think this pizza was worth the price let alone the wait. I've had this pizza 2 times, one time I picked up a slice in the store where it was barely reheated after sitting out for god knows how long. It came out incredibly soggy, almost like it was a piece of French toast that had been soaking in syrup. I chalked it up as a one off, potentially a bad batch, or maybe a new employee not cooking it long enough. Went back in a second time, I was working late and it was one of the few places in town still open. Order a whole pizza this time, ask for it well done. Got a little bit of pushback from the employee, who apparently thought that I was a lunatic for wanting a crispy crust. Whatever, I get my pizza, full of hope that maybe this could be a late night spot in my future, as they are so few and far between in Oxford. My disappointment was immense when I took my first few bites into what was another soggy disaster. I understand that variety is what makes different places unique, and there can't be great pizza without bad pizza. It's truly a shame that Square pizza isn't great, because with their location they could be the most popular spot in this town. I will not be back, and would not recommend this place to absolutely anyone who enjoys pizza. You are better off walking to a gas station and picking up a pizza lunchable. You'll save $2 and end up with a better tasting product.

i don't recommend this place whatsoever. the worker (who was a man) was so rude and cussed us out. he balled up his fist and gritted his teeth at us and i felt very violated. he had a co worker there (who was woman) she looked very uncomfortable with him and overall don't go to this place.
