South Town Shooters

We took a gun safety and permit class here and it was so good. Chasity, our instructor was very clear and she took her time explaining our questions. Not knowing anything about a gun I had many questions and Chasity was patient with me. Our class was small, only three of us which I liked. We learned safety, how to clean a gun, all the laws and how to shoot. We had to score a 70% or higher on the multiple choice test and shooting test. I couldn't believe that I scored a 88% on my shooting test and a 100% on my written test!! The shooting area and classroom are great and if you don't have your own gun you can rent theirs for $ 10.00. The class time was from 9:00 till 5:00 but we were finished by 2:00 which was great and plenty of time. Dyersburg has a great shooting facility that everyone interested should try. I highly recommend the class or dropping in to practice your aim.

If you've been on the fence about getting your permit to carry think no more , call Chastity French and sign up , just bc TN is a open carry state still get your permit , there were many things I learned in this class that I didn't know and every state is different so when traveling you can be aware of those state laws !
