South Main Sushi & Grill

The food was amazing! Fresh fish and the drinks were on point! Our server was very attentive and move us from the door when it got too cold for us. I love the ambience and overall had a great experience! I will be back!

My favorite roll at south main! Love the presentation of this birthday roll! If you don't eat raw than get this roll' even if you do eat raw sushi this is stillMy favorite. Can't go wrong with the birthday rol!

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary. We were staying at the Central Station Hotel but wanted hibachi and sushi. This place was within walking distance. As soon as we entered, we were first greeted with smiles and instructed to sit where ever we would like. I was a little nervous because there wasn't much of a crowd for it to be a Saturday night downtown, but it was after the holiday. Not long after being seated, our waitress came right over. She was very kind and attentive. We had never visited the restaurant before, so she was full of recommendations of her favorite appetizers to start us off. We tried the dumplings! Man! Soooo good! For our entrees, we shared a hurricane roll and chicken hibachi dinner! Whew, likely the BEST hibachi and sushi I've had in the city! We will definitely be back and will recommend to all who are looking for a great hibachi and sushi spot!

Still consistently good with a wide range of options from sushi, to more hibachi, fried rice options. Love the house ginger salad and the clear soup. Sushi is pretty consistent but they do a pretty decent job with keeping it fresh. Service is good, ambiance is nice and has a community feel. We enjoy the Sourh main area.

Had high hopes for this place but unfortunately was disappointed! The service was very slow, and it took a few minutes for anyone to see us at the door and get us seated. The raw fish here isn't very good quality, so any sushi we ordered with raw fish was pretty mediocre. However, the pikachu roll with eel was pretty good! Hopefully will be better in the future.

Great sushi! Highly recommend the hurricane roll which is tempura fried and the stone roll which has salmon in it. The spicy garlic butter edamame was so good! I saved the sauce from it to dip my sushi in! Check this place out if you're down on south main.

We got this delivered, so take that in consideration. The food came soggy and like it had been sitting out for 2 days. The cucumber wrap roll was so soggy it didn't even hold up. Soup was wayyyyy too salty. Salad was not flavorful. Rolls had way too much rice. And overall it was wayyy too expensive. I don't think I'll go back.

I paid $31 for this tiny portion of soup and supposedly a Poke bowl, it was mediocre at best.
