It appeared to not be there anymore!!We drove all around and could not find it. If it is still open either better directions or a bigger sign are needed.

Popped up on a random Saturday. The place was pretty empty. Ordered a few things for take out. 1. 2 piece chicken (white meat) was well seasoned, juicy and hot! 2. Catfish and okra. Catfish had good flavor. The okra was hand battered and 3. The Smothered pork chop. I asked for the gravy on the side so it wasn't soggy when I got home. I made the mistake of "tasting" it while driving home. I ended up driving down memorial with my knee eating the pork chops like chicken nuggets dipping them into the gravy! Jai the owner came out to introduce himself and was super friendly! He has only been open for a couple of months and is still working out some kinks and training the staff. I can't wait for this restaurant to blossom and give other Murfreesboro restaurants a run for their money!

Delicious, hot fresh soul food cooked to order--you can't beat that!! So many soul food restaurants serve cafeteria style so everything has been sitting for hours. Not here. You are greeted when you enter and kept updates on your order. Employees are interactive and personable. The atmosphere is chic and stylish with great music to enjoy. The fried chicken is amazing! The best candied yams I've had in years!!

We ordered our food to go, my wife picked it up! She was very happy with the service and the vibe as well. When they had a delay in the cooking, they communicated with her which is a big thing for both of us! Food was very tasty! Can't wait to go there again! You get what you pay for!

We'd been wanting to try this establishment for a few weeks but don't get over to this side of Murfreesboro that often. We took the bikes out today for a ride and finally made it here. Service was quick and very friendly. Good is cooked to order but we did not mind the wait at all. Hubby got the hamburger and fries. Hamburger is hand pattied and huge. He said it was one of the best he's had in town... and TONS of hot fries. I had the fried chicken, mac and cheese and cabbage. Cabbage was sooooo good! Mac and cheese was the best I've ever had outside of home made! The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was DELICIOUS! We will definitely be coming back. Make the trip here from wherever you are cause this place is one of the best eats in the Boro!

The food was extremely good!! Everyone was really friendly including the chief that came out to check on the customers. Will absolutely go back again!!!

When the chef owner greets you with a smile you know it is going to be a great meal. He even let me taste some items for the first time before ordering. I never ate yams before, I loved them!!! He checked me at my table a couple of times. Very kid friendly environment. Everyone will love the mac and cheese from ages 1-101! The cinnamon apples were good too, I needed a to go box!!!

Chef Jai is amazing. The food is savory and served hot. Nice friendly staff, clean environment.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We walked in and were greeted with smiles and great people. Also, the food was hot and amazing ! Would highly recommend.
