Smoke House Restaurant

We stopped here for lunch on a road trip through Kentucky. We ordered plate lunches meat & two vegetables for $5.25 each. I had the smoked turkey it was moist & good. My husband ordered brisket it came pulled and looked more like roast he said it was dry. The restaurant had local clientele that were in their work clothes; definitely not a tourist spot. I liked it even though our waitress was not the sharpest she brought the food quickly.

Love getting food here. It's definitely a local spot and everyone knows everyone. It happens to be cheap too as well as delicious!

Sorry will not be back..chicken was so dry, it was uneatable...would not feed to my dogs...price is good...

The food is consistent and good. The service is extremely slow. We almost always call ahead and pickup and we still end up waiting for our order. They seem to always be very busy just seem to be understaffed or unorganized.

This is the best place for BBQ in Fulton, KY. It's very reasonably priced, the people are friendly, and the food is very good. This place is a must stop if traveling through. I come here every time I visit!

Pulled in here on a motorcycle trip to Memphis from Illinois- we were hungry and the BBQ smelled great. I found this to be an odd little place... mostly locals and workers who were there for lunch, it appeared. My husband got the pulled pork and curly fries which he loved. I got the ribs, not what i expected but still good enough. the baked beans were amazing but the potato salad was store-purchased, not home made. Our waitress was a little unusual- the people at the next table knew her and the F-word was flying out of her mouth frequently, and for all to hear. The other waitress was talking with a table of men about being in jail and how many piercings she had (seven, for the record). That leads me to think they only get mostly local traffic through there. But, we were hungry, the place was clean, and our food came very quickly. Also on the menu were some items upon special request such as deer, etc.

The food is probably all instant, offbrand boxed mac and cheese, probably all canned vegetables (seasoned a bit), and probably instant mashed potatoes.I've been there, ordered something and awhile later they'd tell me they didn't have it....and then I;d order something else, same thing would happen multiple times in a visit. This place isn't worth it. The kitchen does not communicate with the servers so they can tell me when I try to order that they're out of it.It's cheap though. It's ungodly slow also.

Was impressed with the menu, but not the actual food. I would say that it was like cafeteria food but that would insult cafeteria Cooks. Wife had the brisket with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. The brisket was stringy like it had been cooked in a crock pot, as a roast. The mac and cheese had no flavor. I had the country fried steak mashed potatoes and baked beans. The baked beans looked and almost tasted like pork and beans out of a can. Highly disappointed in the food. The Waitresses were very good it's too bad that the food doesn't complement the place
