Small Town Diner

We were starving so we decided to try this place out. Boy We should have known due to the limited people dining that this place was not good. When you think of diner this is not the place. Limit food choices here. This place is very slow, there is a limit use of activity that goes on. My coworker order chicken wings from the menu but was told only chicken strips were served as wings. Crazy right! I was expecting the place to smell like a restaurant but no it didn't. Also there were dirty dishes left on the tables that were not in use. The restroom wasn't the best might I add. My coworker told the waitress the toilet was broken and she was instructed to stick her hand in the back of the bowl to pull the flap to flush the toilet. Yuck. I don't think I'll ever be back if I'm ever here again.

Went for breakfast with my son. We both ordered the same thing, the breakfast special with eggs and meat and biscuits and gravy potatoes and french toast. When the food was delivered we essentially got one of each thing instead of two. They fixed it pretty quickly but it was still annoying. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the food was decent but not anything to write home about.

Stopped here on a whim one Saturday morning for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Don't expect anything fancy, just southern cookin' served with a smile by friendly folks. I'd definitely return when I'm in the area, if only for the delicious thick-sliced bacon...best I've ever had!

The food wasn't bad and the prices are great but the service was terrible. Our waitress was rude almost angry. May go back but only because there are few choices in Mount Pleasant.
