Slider Inn - Midtown

Slider Inn is always a good time! No frills, just great food and great drinks. It's also very kid-friendly, which makes it a perfect spot for the whole family. This was our first time going in for brunch, and we were surprised to see they have a different menu for it. The standout for me was the Hangover Helper Slider--absolutely delicious! No matter when we visit, the experience is always fun, the atmosphere is laid-back, and the food never disappoints. We always come back to Slider Inn, and we'll definitely be back again!

Hoped for a successful visit, we have tried to go many times and played an audible due to the number of people. First, the Jameson slushee is magic... if I can get that to go, I'll come back. Otherwise, we tried a smattering of sliders, mediocre at best (meat to bun ration meh). I also tried the bisque and was excited until it felt like the Dead Sea exploded in my mouth (it's too salty, WAY TOO SALTY). The service was nothing great, we waited to order, waited to get the check, and left a margarita full with no comment. Not super impressed. They weren't very busy either.It's a cool looking spot, but even for a neighborhood bar, left us coming home to get better food.

Called in an order for pick up. The person who took my order was female and made sure that she gotten my name right for my order. However, once coming inside the building, the bartender who was male was misgendering me about my name. Then to top it off, the food wasn't good as it should be. I paid $40 for bread pudding that was dry, buffalo chicken sliders that were dry, lobster bisque was okay needed more seasoning, and the fries were dry. I would not come back to this specific slider inn restaurant

Came here to eat with my wife and two kids because Apple Maps said it was good for kids. We couldn't eat there because they didn't have any high chairs for our youngest daughter. Granted this place is more of a bar type restaurant, but was frustrating to find out they weren't as good for kids as we thought.

The food here was honestly great. It was a little pricey but the quality of the burger meat was actually better than I expected. It had a nice grilled taste to it. The Jameson slush was also worth it, very mild but sweet and unique. The service was excellent our server was a nice lady and very attentive. Not a fan of the ambiance, we went to meet friends and it was our first time there. Lots of people smoking on the patio at the table where people were eating so our 4 year old was breathing cigarette smoke while eating his burger. No one smokes anymore it's 2023, not like the 90s when there was smoking or non smoking. I think someone could have warned us or people should smoke away from other people eating. Most places will ask people to smoke away from the establishment or near the street. Also not a fan of the crowd there...I would go back if it weren't for that

First visit to this location, the drinks were good and the place had a really good vibe. The service was alright, but the reason for the 3 stars is the food. I hope they were just having a bad day. The food took almost 45 minutes to come out. We got sliders, the memphis, the chicken sandwich, and the mushroom and Swiss. The flavor for all of them were lacking. The fries were pretty good though. Also got the lemon and pepper wings and they were huge, but no flavor. I'll come back for their drink specials and fries.

We went this weekend for my birthday, and this place always is good! Good sliders, good drinks, good apps, and good music! Always a must when I visit Memphis!

i always come for the slushies so good 10/10. the sliders are also good. i always try something new and do the mix match. waitresses take your order fairly quick and they always have good music. also love taking selfies with the jameson bottles in the back

Came in to eat with friends a few days ago and our waitress was incredibly rude to us. She acted condescending and spoke to us like we were stupid and didn't have time for us. At one point another waitress came by and one of the girls at our table asked her for our waitress's name and the girl told us her name was Raven. She could tell something was obviously off by our collective reaction and when she asked what was wrong we told her she had been super rude to us to which the girl replied "oh yeah, she's awful - everyone here hates working with her too it isn't just you". Not sure if this place just doesn't care who they have working for them or if she is the manager or what is going on, but needless to say our experience wasn't great and me and my friends don't plan on coming back anytime soon if this is the vibe. Food was alright and the ambiance is great, but that only carries so much weight if that's what we (and apparently the staff) have to endure.

If I could leave no stars I would gladly. I would like to start my review off with the fact that the service is very spotty and not great, the food came out wrong and I ordered the slushie and was informed after I took a sip that they couldn't take it off when I didn't like it, after the fact. I wanted to mention the food issue at the same time as the alcohol complaint but the server was such in a hurry it took an additional 10 minutes to complain about the food, would not recommend coming here if you value being treated well.
