Best place for all things BBQ. When I travel to see family in Pennsylvania, I travel to The Pig the day before for BBQ and potato salad. The meal is not complete without Miss JoJo's fruit tea and freah coconut cake.If one is sad, upset, happy, or mourning, Slick Pig makes everything better.Ih, and Ms JoJo's fruit tea is extra special with coconut rum and coconut cake, promise. You will need to take some home.

WOW!!! You locals are lucky, this place is DELICIOUS!!!!! Unfortunately for me i live in California and may never have a chance to come back but if I get lucky..I will be!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, from taking my order, until the minute I left. The decor reminds me that i am in the heart of the south, with a very warm feeling and the employees just enhance it all.This little Mom and Pops place is everything you're looking for in a down home barbecue.DON'T MISS OUT!!!

Some of the best wings I've ever had. There was a group of 8 of us for lunch. We found a table and ordered at the front. Service was fast and everyone enjoyed their food.

I'm from out of town, but I've been to this place twice on work trips. Each time I've gone, it's been with very large groups (30ish). The staff there has handled it so professionally each time and get everything in and out real quickly considering the group size. I can't emphasize the hospitality enough. The food itself is awesome as well. This most recent time I had the meat sampler and in order I liked the ribs, wings, then brisket. The brisket wasn't bad by any means, but the ribs were just perfect. The Mac and cheese is ok, beans and hush puppies are very good. I can't wait to go back next year!

My family loves this place. When the grandkids come to town this is the place they want to go every night. Just took my daughter today for her first visit.

Went here for an after graduation lunch. Had a party of 8+. It was a little hectic at first, because you order at the counter and then go to your tables, so there was a huge line in the middle of the restaurant. I got a smoked brisket plate, it comes with 2 sides, bread, and a drink. I got fried okra and potato salad. I thought the bread was just regular bread, but the bread option was between hush puppies, cornbread and something that I forgot. So I got hush puppies. My brisket was very moist, I even enjoyed the taste of the fat. The fried okra was bomb and so were the hushpuppies. The potato salad was good, but not the height of my night. For a drink I got the sweet tea, and THAT was amazing!! Best tasting sweat tea I've ever had!! I had some the next day in my to go cup and was still phenomenal! I'm hoping they have a website we can order it from Arizona! I tried my S.O. Cornbread and I was not impressed. It was like flattened mini pancakes, and I could barely taste the corn in it. All in all, I give 5 stars because everything I ordered, I highly enjoyed, and my S.O. Said the same thing. We had their fried pickles and they were also very good!

Slick Pig has ambience that other (newer) BBQ places pay designers a lot of money to mimic. Out of the speakers comes 90's country music. Booths and long tables fill the space and the walls have signs that would compete with any Cracker Barrel.Grab a menu at the door, walk up and place your order. The menu covers BBQ 101 items and the prices are fair. Pay, grab your number and a seat, and they'll bring your food when it's ready. The ribs are fall off the bone tender. Baked beans, fries, and hush puppies are all good. Portions are good.Given the food I tasted, I thought the banana pudding would be good. Sadly, I can't recommend it. Everything else was good.

Best smoked wings ever. Always good service. And I love the decor. Definitely recommend the fried green tomatoes too!!
