Siler's Old Time Bbq

Had some good food from Siler's bbq. The pork on the sandwich was dry though and not very tender. I would assume that it usually would be better. It was good quality meat and not all fatty. He slaw and sauce were both above average and the sauce was a good vinegar sauce. Both the mild and hot were right on. The winner winner chicken dinner was the whole chicken for $8. It was delicious and was great with their hot sauce on it. A friend has a getaway place near here and told me about it and he was right on. Mentioned that he will by several and take them home. Not a destination spot but I would absolutely recommend giving them a try if your near. The chicken was no doubt a winner!

Excellent pit bbq. They have a woodpile and mane their own charcoal. Go around back to see the pits...concrete boosts,metal grill, canvas cover. Meat tastes great...try without sauce so as to not mask the flavor.

I've always had the best BBQ pulled pork from here, with the freshest buns and good sauce. I have not been in 2yrs but I've been visiting this place for over 20yrs and I've never been disappointed.

This place also appears in various listings as Curt's and Jack's Creek BBQ. It's nothing terribly special. There's no woodpile, which explains the lack of smoke flavor in the BBQ. When I went, the pork was gray and dry, and the sauces weren't distinguished in the least.
